Tina Arnold Spills Tea After Leaving ‘1000-Lb Best Friends’
By now, most 1000-Lb Best Friends fans know that Tina Arnold left the show. However, many of the details haven’t been so public.
TLC producers likely have their own version of events, but for now, Tina is the only one speaking up. See what she shared on Instagram before deleting the posts from her account.
Former Reality Star Tina Arnold Shares Several Angry Posts & Videos
Those who followed Tina Arnold’s journey on 1000-Lb Best Friends likely didn’t feel surprised when she announced she quit. At the end of Season 2, the former TLC star backed out of her bariatric surgery at the very last second. Ultimately, that also fueled her exit.
Several weeks ago, Tina admitted it was a mutual decision between her and the network to part ways. She made a very eloquent post citing reasons for exiting the show and made it clear bariatric surgery wasn’t for her.
But on the inside, the former TLC star clearly harbors some angry feelings.

Last night, Tina Arnold uploaded several bitter posts on Instagram regarding her exit. She posted a now-deleted video where she discussed how nasty some of the cast and crew members could be and said that she really wasn’t interested in filming a third season anyway. Tina didn’t name names, but based on her previous posts, she was likely talking about Vannessa Cross.
She said she never felt like anyone at TLC cared about her personal autonomy when she turned down bariatric surgery. Even if TLC hadn’t pushed surgery so hard, Tina wasn’t sure she was cut out for reality television life.
In another now-deleted post, she belittled her critics and said she would explain her exit simply for people who couldn’t understand.
The Former TLC Star Later Scrubbed Her Instagram
For unknown reasons, Tina Arnold later decided to scrub her Instagram of the bitter posts. A representative from TLC might have reprimanded her, or she simply might have grown tired of dealing with trolls.
In a newer post, Tina made another video warning trolls to leave her alone. She said she wasn’t sure why people were reporting her posts, but wanted them to go outside and experience fresh air.
“It does a body (and mind) good! 10 out of 10 therapists agree! 😍 #illprayforyou” the TLC star captioned an Instagram post from the morning of November 17.
