‘Life Below Zero’ Fans Bash Andy For Treatment Of Denise
It seems like fans of Life Below Zero have started to lose patience with Andy Bassich. The main complaint is how he treats the women in his life. He started the show with his wife, Kate Bassich, but they divorced in 2016. He is now on the show with his girlfriend, Denise. However, fans seem disgusted at how he treats her on the show.

Fans Bash Andy Bassich From Life Below Zero?
Life Below Zero was a BBC series that also aired on National Geographic and told the story of people who live in remote areas of Alaska. The most popular people on the show included 61-year-old Sue Aikens and the family of Chip and Agnes Hailstone.
However, another major cast member that fans have started to grow tired of is Andy Bassich. He lives on the Yukon River with his 25 sled dogs and came to Alaska from Washington, D.C. He was married to Kate Bassich, but they divorced in 2016. Since then, his girlfriend Denise has joined him at this homestead and on the show.
In a recent Reddit thread, one poster said they “can’t stand Andy.” They mentioned that the previous night’s episode reinforced that Andy was bossy and sarcastic and that he ordered his girlfriend around. They said the way he treated her was rude and dismissive. Other Redditors agreed that he treated his ex-wife the same way on the show.

What Is Going On With Life Below Zero?
Fans won’t have to worry about seeing Brian too much longer on Life Below Zero. Chip Hailstone said that the show was coming to an end after 12 seasons on the air.
From the sound of it, the show will be officially over when the current season ends. Chip brags that the show will end with 12 years and nine Emmy Awards, and he says he and his wife are in the first and last episodes.

I record the show and fast forward any parts with Andy Bassich.
Andy sadly is a narcissist and a bully. He thinks all women are beneath him. It blows my mind that a well rounded woman could get caught up in his trap. I do not watch him on LBZ, I fast forward past his ugliness
I think Denise enjoys learning some of the stuff but I don’t care for the way he talks he seems to think she is his not too bright assistant. He says things like “she needs to know how to survive out here”, he also has her doing all kinds of heavy duty work and from the looks of her she’s as thin as a toothpick but she digs in and does it, and he sounds like he is restraining his crtitcism because of the tv crew. Now that it’s canceled it would be interesting to see how he behaves when no one is watching.
Andy’s name should be “Richard”

And his treatment to his loving wife s, he should have been throw off the show the first time, too many Andy’s in this world,

Bassich is a little boy! He has no respect for anyone. He talks a big act, but he is total bullshit!
I don’t know I thought he treated her pretty good course. I don’t know what’s off camera, but he’s just showing her the ropes on how to survive and trap and fish. I mean somebody’s gonna show her and it doesn’t sound like he talks bad about her.
Andy sucks. Denise is not his slave as he thinks she is. She seems to be interested in the lifestyle and tries hard to make the asshole happy. They got a great place and I think Denise loves it but then there is Andy the narcissist. I personally love Sue and the Hailstones but I could do without Andrew. Put Sue with Andy and she will whip his behind.
