‘Golden Bachelorette’ Joan Vassos Season Finale Cut Short
Fans will be seeing Golden Bachelorette Joan Vassos give out her final rose tonight on ABC. The network will stick to tradition and have her watching her final episode live. Jesse Palmer will be hosting and Joan’s final two men along with her family will be there as well. Fans are anxious to see how her journey ends, but the finale is going to be cut short. Why is this happening? Keep reading to get all the details.
Golden Bachelorette Joan Vassos Finale Cut Short
Usually, when the season finale of The Bachelor or The Bachelorette airs it lasts 3 hours. Even Gerry Turner’s season of The Golden Bachelor had a two-hour finale. Joan Vassos is not so lucky. In fact, The Golden Bachelorette finale will only be an hour and a half. This is the normal time slot that her season has been airing. Why is Joan’s finale being cut shorter than previous ones?
Joan Vassos has gotten longer regular season episodes than Gerry Turner did. His episodes were only one hour versus the two hours for the younger versions of the franchise. Joan was right in the middle at one and a half hours.
The only answer as to why Joan’s finale has been cut short is because ABC already has Abbott Elementary and Doctor Odyssey scheduled to air immediately following The Golden Bachelorette. Since the network has not made an official statement as to why the finale is shorter than normal, it can be assumed they didn’t want to reschedule the other two shows.
Fans can tune in on Wednesday night, November 13 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC and Hulu the following day to see who Joan chooses.
What Can Fans Expect From The Finale?
Fans of The Golden Bachelorette will see Joan Vassos make her final choice between Chock Chapple and Guy Gansert. These two remaining men will meet her family who are very protective of her.
They will have one more chance to plead their case and tell Joan how much they love her before the final rose ceremony. Then, she will give out her final rose. However, she has said in previous interviews there is a twist involved.
The other big question on everyone’s minds is if there will be a proposal. Joan said in the beginning she didn’t need someone to propose to her at the end. Did she change her mind?
