Yellowstone Season 5, Part 2 finally premiered on Sunday, November 10th much to fans’ delight. Unfortunately, not everyone was able to watch the final part. Now, they are freaking out over Paramount Plus’ streaming mess. So, what are viewers saying and where can the premiere be viewed for those who missed it? Keep reading for more details.

Fans Freak Over Paramount Plus & Yellowstone Streaming Mess

It was supposed to be a great night for Yellowstone fans. After a long wait, nearly two years, the hit Paramount series finally returned. This will be the end of the chapter which is hard enough but viewers were preparing themselves for the end. They were thrilled for the night it came back which was Sunday, November 10th:

  • I didn’t know how much I needed this to be back….
  • Finally! #Yellowstone is back!
  • Happy Yellowstone, for all those who celebrate.

Unfortunately, not everyone was able to enjoy the premiere. It was not available on streaming service, Paramount Plus although the show airs on Paramount and CBS. Fans immediately headed to social media to express their frustration with how they missed out on the premiere because the streamer let them down:

  • I can not believe Yellowstone is not available on Paramount plus. I refuse to pay for another service so I guess I’m done with either way Yellowstone!
  • Paramount+ is really dropping the ball with the new Yellowstone epsiodes. Apparently paying for the streaming service isn’t enough?

So, what is the deal with this? More so, was it even supposed to be on the streamer in the first place, or were viewers led to believe it was when it was not? According to Page Six, part two was never intended to stream on Paramount Plus from the get-go. It also would not be available on Peacock but was going to be on streamers such as Hulu+ Live TV, Philo, Sling, and DIRECTV Stream. Other than that, this was allegedly something that was known before the show even began airing so is Paramount Plus to blame? Likely not.

Best Options

For those who really want to watch Yellowstone, many of the streamers, such as Sling offer great introductory plans for the first month. Therefore, if you can hold out for a month or so, you can get Sling and then binge a handful of episodes. Others, like Philo and YouTubeTV, do offer a week free if you are searching for plans but want to catch up on the premiere. They also can be purchased on Prime Video for $2.99/episode which could be worth it to see if the season is worth the investment. There are only 6 episodes with the last one airing on December 15th. So, try to hold out if you do not want to invest in another streamer.

Did you have any idea that Yellowstone was not airing on Paramount Plus and were you shocked when you learned this? Let us know and watch new episodes Sundays on Paramount.
