Everything ‘WCTH’ Stars Have Teased About Season 12
WCTH Season 12 premieres on January 5. Hearties are gearing up for a return to Hope Valley. Thankfully, some of the stars of the long-running Hallmark series have already shared some information about their characters this season. What have they revealed?
Erin Krakow Warns Elizabeth May Experience ‘Tragedy’ In WCTH Season 12
Days before Hallmark announced that WCTH Season 12 would be premiering on Sunday, January 5, Erin Krakow spoke to TV Fanatic while promoting her latest Christmas movie with Daniel Lissing, Tell Me Santa. She revealed something concerning about Elizabeth. She warned that there would be a “tragedy.”
After sharing that “it has been such an exciting season,” Krakow shared that Elizabeth’s life is all over the place. “My character alone had so much to do this season between romance and comedy and maybe even some…I hesitate to say tragedy, but there are some real emotional, dramatic scenes this season as well.”
Could this have to do with the shocking When Calls The Heart Season 11 finale cliffhanger when Hargraves arrived to share news about Jack? Erin shared that this particular plot point is quickly resolved.
One thing I’ll say that will hopefully put minds at ease is we get a resolution to that early on in the season. We’re not going to leave viewers hanging on that front for too long.
However, all indications show that Elizabeth and Nathan will continue to work on their relationship and blend their families.

Will Jack Wagner Get What He Wants In When Calls The Heart Season 12?
Jack Wagner has made it clear that he wants his character Bill Avery to have romance in WCTH Season 12. However, when it was announced that Melissa Gilbert would be guest-starring in the series for two episodes, it did not seem connected. But, when her character Georgie McGill was announced in the First Look video, it seemed Bill Avery and Georgie McGill already knew each other.
Could there be a past romance between these two characters? Could there be a chance that the two could find romance this season? That definitely seems possible.

Chris McNally Revealed That Lucas Could Have Romance In WCTH Season 12
Lastly, in October, Chris McNally shared some clues about his character Lucas Bouchard in WCTH Season 12. While promoting his Christmas movie Holiday Crashers, Chris shared that it is possible that Lucas will have a romance with a newcomer who doesn’t see eye-to-eye with the Governor. But, Chris didn’t know for sure if this would turn into a full-blown romance.
A lot of Hearties would like to see Lucas Bouchard finally find love.
