‘B&B’ Lawrence Saint-Victor Responds To ‘Insulting’ Remarks
Actor Lawrence Saint-Victor is known for playing Carter Walton on The Bold and the Beautiful. However, over the years, the actor has been the subject of a rumor concerning the show. Saint-Victor has spoken out about the issue on social media.
Lawrence Saint-Victor Has Different Responsibilities On The Show
Lawrence Saint-Victor first joined the soap opera world playing Remy Boudreau in Guiding Light, from 2006 to 2009. Starting 2013, he took on the role of Carter Walton on The Bold and the Beautiful.
However, Saint-Victor does more than just act on the show. By 2021, he would also start working as a script writer for the series.
However, this has led to speculation that Saint-Victor might be writing for his character on the show. Recently, one fan even decided to confront the star about this on X, formerly known as Twitter, in a now-removed post.
Saint-Victor, as noted by Soaps In Depth, responded that, “I don’t usually respond, but you’re calling my integrity into question.” As he continued, “I, as a writer, have no control over story or what Carter does or doesn’t do.”
“I’ve seen a few of your ignorant remarks about me. They are insulting. You are free to post what you want, but don’t tag me.”
As the original post was taken down, Saint-Victor later gave fans an update. As he shared, “Here’s some context about my response to a ‘fan’ yesterday.”
“I was accused of using the power they think I have as a writer to write myself into love scenes so I can kiss all the actresses. That’s an insulting statement, and I wish not to be tagged in comments like those.”
Saint-Victor Previously Talked About What He Likes About Acting & Writing
In addition to his work as an actor, Saint-Victor and former Guiding Light co-star Karla Mosley co-created the web series, Wed Locked. This is what helped gain his writing duties on The Bold and the Beautiful.
Many fans shared words of support with Saint-Victor and came to his defense. As one fan wrote, “I wish people would realize this is just a TV show. I get we all have our faves, but when you start attacking real people in defense of fictional characters, it’s too much. It’s part of the reason I stopped interacting with soap Twitter on a regular basis.”

The actor/writer also made sure to thank these fans for their words of support. As he wrote, “Thank you all for the love and support,” paired with a heart emoji.
Saint-Victor previously talked about what he likes about writing and acting with Woman’s World. As he shared, “I love the writing, because you’re kind of isolated and in your own space.”
“But I am an actor, so I also enjoy being on set and being artistic and collaborative with my fellow artists. When my character is front burner and I am writing, I’m very busy. I gotta delegate my time, but the writing of the stories also aids me when I’m acting. It all works together.”

I would not blame Mr. Saint-Victor if he were writing scenes around Carter. With that show how else does one get airtime?? I know myself, as well as other fans’ comments that we don’t like how after a storyline has ended we never see those characters again sometimes for months! But whoever is writing, please find Carter a nice girl who is drop dead gorgeous as he deserves it– & I don’t mean Hope, too manipulative!
hello I agree with one of our comments I wish sometime we can separate TV fiction from real life it’s just entertainment and to pass time I gets some times involved and say things about the character but not intended for real life we have to be very careful and remember to sperate the to I like Carter role they just need sometimes to write it so he could just find someone to love instead of having him in that position from woman to woman how they think they real wife’s feel even though they know that’s it’s just entertainment they don’t want to see they husband nor wife portrait like that he is a very good actor cause we don’t see to many blacks in stories they all are not bad and don’t need to be tag as anything so I agree please let separate entertainment from real life not saying we are not untitled to our own opinions no harm intended to the comments but let’s just try to remember to sperate the two keep doing good Carter we love you😁👍
