Rain Brown Breaks Silence On Her Struggle With Disabling Illness

Rain Brown became introduced to fans through her appearances on Alaskan Bush People with her family. The TV personality recently shared an update with fans on social media. In the post, she was also able to be open with her struggles with illness, showing empathy to fans with similar circumstances.

Rain Brown Shared An Update With Her Mother’s Account

Alaskan Bush People is a documentary-style reality series which features the Brown family as they try to live away from modern society off the grid in the Alaskan wilderness.

Rain was known as the youngest of the Bear clan. During her time on the show, she was known for her interest in fashion, in spite of the family’s lifestyle, causing her to be nicknamed “Bush Barbie.”

Taking to social media, Rain decided to give fans an update on her life. While the TV personality has her own Instagram account, she used her mother Ami’s account to send the message.

The post notably featured a few photos of Rain. In keeping with her fashionalbe reputation, in one, she could be seen wearing a pair of sunglasses and a nice black coat, with sitting out amongst fallen orange leaves.

Another featured Rain wearing dressed in red, with a scarf and half. Once again, she was seen playing in the leaves.

The Alaskan Bush People Star Gave Advice To Fans

In her message, Rain wrote, “Hey everybody! Rain, here! I know it’s been quite awhile since I came on any platform, and said anything, and I wanted to steal my mom’s account to give you guys an update!”

Rain give an update about her life. As she noted, “Since we last spoke I have sought out help from a hospital for my mental health, got back into counseling, moved, got married, and adopted about [eight] cats/kittens. Needlessly, to say, my heart is very full, and I am enjoying my life to the fullest!”

The TV personality wanted to assure others in a similar position that they are not alone. As she wrote, “As anyone with mental health illness knows, life is hard. Life is hard either way, but especially for us with disabilities.” She also apologized to those who didn’t agree with her use of the word, “illness.”

Rain also made note that, “Your brain is the most vital organ you have. Take care of it my peeps, and take your meds if you got em!”

Many fans shared their well wishes with Rain in the comments. As one wrote, “Your words touched me very much! But I’m happy to hear that you’ve found the love of your life!”
