Hallmark fans who subscribed to the new streaming network now feel stupid because they cannot find the new Countdown To Christmas movies there. In September, the network premiered the new streaming channel that they called Hallmark+. However, it seems that viewers are confused about the purpose of the streaming channel since they cannot watch their Christmas movies.

Fans Don’t Understand Why Countdown To Christmas Movies Are Not On Hallmark+

On Reddit one fan wrote, “I bought Hallmark+ because I was afraid I would miss all of the countdown to Christmas movies. Turns out they won’t be on there until next year. The kicker is that I went on Peacock and looked under recently added to see all the countdown to Christmas movies on there. I’m a stupid idiot.”

  • It turns out that this fan is not the only one. Here are some of the comments.
  • I did the same thing! I just figured it out this morning on peacock.
  • No, you’re not an idiot, you just missed the information that Countdown To Christmas won’t be on Hallmark+. However, there’s hundreds of excellent Christmas movies, all of our favorites. And there’s material on Hallmark+ including a Christmas mystery, you won’t find in the Hallmark cable channels.
  • I did the same thing, OP. I canceled. I had no idea it was on peacock. I’ll be able to watch them now! Thank youuu.
  • Same, I was super disappointed!
  • Agree! They’re sneaky about actually what’s in their platform. There are some original shows and movies in there plus a lot of the old ones. Also a bunch of hallmark movies are contracted to be on Netflix soon as well!

Why Are Viewers So Confused?

One of the big issues is that viewers don’t understand the purpose of the streaming channel. Since the rebranded launch, the streaming channel has dropped new romcom series like Groomsmen. What confused viewers further was where viewers could watch it. That is because when Hallmark+ was announced over the summer, some prestigious television publications mistakenly shared that viewers could see Hallmark+ movies on Peacock. This new series can only be streamed on Hallmark+, but Countdown To Christmas is available to stream on Peacock.

Perhaps there does not seem to be a real distinction on what the streaming channel is compared to the mystery channel, to the OG channel. Part of that is because Hallmark+ has a cornucopia of programming. They stream mysteries like Aurora Teagarden, and reality series like Finding Mr. Christmas. They will also stream a few new romcoms including holiday movies, as well as a catalog of old favorites.

Yet, viewers are just looking for one place to watch all the new Christmas movies.

Hallmark fans, are you confused as to where you can watch the Countdown To Christmas movies? Did you think subscribing to the streamer would solve that problem?
