Dancing With The Stars fans always have wide ranging opinions from season to season. But as Season 33 continues, many viewers have expressed annoyance and frustration with long-term judge, Carrie Ann Inaba.

Week after week, audience members shower her with boos while she critiques the contestants. But even so, Carrie Ann is determined not to let the naysayers bring her down.

See what she had to say in the new interview.

DWTS Judge Carrie Ann Inaba Loves What She Does

Carrie Ann Inaba recently appeared on Good Morning America to discuss the upcoming 500th episode. Although the show has grown and changed since its premiere in 2005, Carrie Ann loves being part of it.

“It’s so much fun. I’ve been on the panel since day one with Bruno and then we’ve seen people come and go and it’s just great because the family just keeps growing,” the judge shared on GMA. She went on to say that she loved working with Len Goodman, but Derek Hough has done an excellent job taking over for him.

While the judges do all get along, previous reports indicated that Bruno Tonioli and Derek Hough have grown frustrated with Carrie Ann’s judging persona.

“Carrie Ann will always be part of the DWTS family but as with any family, dynamics shift and things change. She is very much beloved on set but she doesn’t have her place quite like she used to. She doesn’t fit in as well as she once did,” an insider reportedly told The Sun.

The DWTS Judge Is Aware Of What Viewers Say About Her Online

Her erratic behavior this season has prompted many fans to call for a replacement. Mark Ballas has been a popular choice with viewers. However, it doesn’t seem likely he would try to usurp Carrie Ann. During his appearance as a guest judge, she slipped him a sweet and sincere note.

But in the GMA interview, Carrie Ann acknowledged the online hate she receives.

“We have different opinions, sometimes people come after me for my opinions,” the judge shared in the interview, noting that the negative feedback does occasionally hurt her feelings. “But the better thing is that it shows that people love what’s happening right? And that makes me happy. … It’s okay, they can come after me, I’m a judge. I’m used to it and have tough skin.”
