1000-Lb Sisters Fans Freak Out After Tuesday Passes With No New Episode
Fall TV season is in full swing, but reality television fans found November 5 to be sorely lacking. TLC didn’t put out new episodes of 1000-Lb Sisters or 1000-Lb Best Friends on Tuesday night. Naturally, plenty of viewers felt upset. Most viewers understood why TLC opted to skip a week. However, several fans expressed fear and panic online.
After Brittany’s death rumors, some worried the network skipped an episode out of respect. So what exactly happened?
“Episode release,” a 1000-Lb Sisters viewer asked on Reddit. “Anybody know why a new episode hasn’t dropped this week? There were rumors that brittany died and now there’s no new episode 😭Any info pls comment!”
Most other Redditors weren’t nearly so concerned. They knew there wouldn’t be a November 5 episode because it was Election Night in the United States. On top of that, the rumors surrounding Brittany Combs’ death had already been debunked. It’s not immediately clear how or why the death rumors happened, but she is thankfully alive and well.
Comments included:
- “New episode next week!”
- “Tammy said Brittany didn’t die, that was a weird hoax. It was election night”
- “Yeah they would have just had terrible ratings because everyone would be watching election news that night. A lot of shows didn’t air and were pushed to next week unfortunately.”
- “There will be an episode Nov. 12th :)”
