‘Gold Rush’ Parker Schnabel Describes ‘Really Hard’ Season 15
Parker Schnabel is getting fans excited about the upcoming Gold Rush Season 15. Schnabel has a new site he bought called Dominion. In his recent comments about the new season, he admitted there will be a “really hard timeline” this season. He also said there is “no real room for error.”
Here is what Parker had to say about the new season.
Parker Schnabel Talks Pressure Of Gold Rush Season 15
Gold Rush Season 15 premieres on November 8 on Discovery. Parker Schnabel is one of the returning cast members this season, and he has a new site to mine. Dominion has what is said to be $15 million of new land to unearth in the new season.
Parker said that stress levels are high in the new season as he digs into his new location.
“For our mine site, we’re in a position where we really are under the gun to get a lot of work done, and we have a real hard timeline to get these projects done in the time we’ve got,” Parker said (via PEOPLE). “So this season we have no real room for error. Since we bought Dominion, we had this huge upfront purchase, and now there’s a lot of pressure to execute that well.”
Parker said it was “easier said than done.” In the first look at the new season, he said they have a lot of gold, and that is a powerful feeling. He described it as gold fever. Parker has been mining since he was 15, learning from his grandfather. “I had no idea how much pain was in store for me,” he said.
What Is Happening This Season On Gold Rush?
This season, the three experienced gold miners are back for more with Parker Schnabel, Tony Beets, and Rick Ness returning. Ness returned last season and he is looking to continue his comeback after he dealt with some mental health issues over the past couple of years.
Schnabel said that if anyone wants to play with the big boys, they have to go “where the big boys play.” He emphasized that fans might remember him and Rick Ness meeting Tony Beets, 64, and learning that the Yukon had more gold than he had ever seen before.
With that in mind, Parker said that there are always dangers of losing everything. “This industry always faces a lot of crises, and one of them will take us out,” he said. “We’ve built a house of cards — it won’t take much of a breeze to blow it all down.”
Gold Rush premieres Friday, November 8 at 8/7c on Discovery Channel. The full series streams on Max.
