Grant Ellis All Smiles After Filming The Bachelor

Bachelor Nation fans didn’t get to know very much about Grant Ellis when he was a contestant on Season 21 of The Bachelorette. Jenn Tran sent him home in Week 6 before Hometown Dates. But viewers will get to know more about Grant when his season of The Bachelor premieres in early 2025.

He left for filming in September after he was announced as the lead on the Men Tell All special. Filming wrapped up this week. He returned to social media with a smiley photo posted on his Instagram Story. “I’m back babyyyyyy!” he wrote on the snapshot.

Bachelor Nation fans ran to Reddit to thirst over the new Bachelor star. One fan asked if Grant’s season is shorter because Joey Graziadei’s filming for Season 28 went into November. Another fan confirmed that Season 29 is a few weeks shorter because of ABC’s coverage of the March Madness college basketball finals.

What He’s Looking For In A Wife

One Bachelor Nation fan speculated that Grant Ellis looks happy and engaged in the photo he shared after filming wrapped. Bachelor Nation blogger Reality Steve has revealed Grant’s final three, but nothing yet on how the season ends.

Grant Ellis joined Bachelor Nation’s Joe Amabile and Serena Pitt on the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast before he left for filming. He said that he had “zero hesitations” about being The Bachelor. He also revealed what kind of woman he was looking for.

“I want somebody who has a heart for other people, somebody who’s not self-absorbed, somebody who is affectionate, who’s kind.”

Binged Former Bachelor Seasons For Inspiration

Grant Ellis is the second Black lead in the franchise. Matt James was the first for Season 25. Grant confessed to the podcast hosts that he watched earlier seasons of the show to get the dos and don’ts of being The Bachelor.

He specifically mentioned watching Clayton Echard and Nick Viall’s seasons. “I’m watching these seasons, and I’m saying, ‘OK, this is a good takeaway, this isn’t a good takeaway.” Grant added, “But ultimately, I’m gonna try and be myself, just try to learn from other past seasons and put my own spin on it.”
