Jimmy Fallon might have a successful career as a comedian and talk show host. However, even he is fearless when it comes to his job. Fallon recently shared what fears him the most during a rather timely appearance.

Hot Wings Was Decorated For The Spooky Season

Fallon has been a prominent fixture of late-night television for years. After serving as a cast-member on Saturday Night Live, he became the host of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon starting in 2019. Since then, he has been the host of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

However, despite this, he still has his fears regarding his job. Somewhat fittingly, he revealed this on Halloween.

The comedian appeared on the October 31st episode of Hot Ones. The set was decorated for the holiday, complete with tiny pumpkins and skeletons in witch’s cauldrons. Talking with host Sean Evans, as noted by People, he discussed the November release of his new comedy album, Holiday Seasoning.

Towards the end of the show, Fallon wished Evans a “Happy Halloween.” When Evans admitted he didn’t have a costume planned this year, Fallon noted he’s seen people dress like Evans himself for the holiday. As Evans himself noted, the costume involves “a string holding a tray of wings.”

After Fallon was finishing his wings, Evans noted they were “spooky on the set.” He soon talked about scary things, like “werewolves and Rouge AI robots.” This caused Fallon to quip, “Nothing. This means nothing.”

Fallon Does Admit To Having A ‘Showbiz’ Fear

Evans then began to ask: “But in keeping with the deep dive on you as an entertainer, I’m curious…what is your showbiz nightmare? What are the motivating fears?” Fallon then began to ask the crew to “unfocus” the cameras.

In spite of his successful career, Fallon admitted to one job-related phobia. As he revealed, “The deafening silence is my biggest fear, crying on camera which is happening now, my biggest fear. Probably my biggest fear is giving up in front of the American public and I’m not doing that.”

Of course, Evans showed his respect, saying, “Facing the fears, taking on the wing of death, and living the tell the tale. Now, Jimmy Fallon, there’s nothing to do but roll out the red carpet for you.

Fallon finished the segment talking about the album, suggesting it would have been smart to release it in September. That way, he mused, it would have a “fighting chance” to break into the holiday charts. Evans then helped promote the album, saying, “Well, hey, if you’re watching this episode and appreciate the sacrifice, again, it’s for the kids, get that album.”
