‘MAFS’ Major Clues David & Michelle Marriage Doomed
Married at First Sight fans are just getting to know Michelle and David in Season 18 scenes in Chicago. Already, there are some major clues that this relationship is doomed, even before it officially gets underway in scenes. So, what clues point to this fate for the pair?
Married at First Sight: Season 18 In Chicago Just Getting Started
Married at First Sight Season 18 just kicked off. Things moved to Chicago to see if this new batch of marriage hopefuls can find everything they are looking for. For each new cast member who participates in this unique marriage experiment, they put their faith completely in the hands of the experts.
Unlike shows like Love Is Blind, where people essentially choose their matches, Married at First Sight is all about the experts putting people together, as cast members have no choice but to trust the process, and trust that experts like Calvin Roberson and Dr. Pepper Schwartz took everything into consideration when matching people.
MAFS: Michelle And David Open Up About Filming
With Married at First Sight fans digging into the new couples this season, there are already some major clues that one couple does not make it. This has to do with new pair, Michelle and David. So, what clues suggest that these two don’t make it last for the long haul?
In an interview with Screen Rant, Michelle said that there was a “learning curve” to the Married at First Sight experience. She went on to say that the experience was “stressful.”
David, on the other hand, took a more positive approach, saying his experience was “life changing” and “exciting.” He did agree that the experience had its “stressful” moments as well.
Married At First Sight: Major Clues That These Two Are Over?
One major clue that Michelle let slip in this recent interview is when she went on to say that if she could change anything about her Married at First Sight Season 18 experience in Chicago, she “would have put an emphasis on the fact that I am attracted to men who are extremely driven.”
Even in scenes, there were other red flags. David admitting that he is a smoker was “gross” to Michelle. If that were not enough, Michelle was not thrilled about the fact that David lived with his parents. So, her emphasizing that she should have been matched with someone more driven seems to suggest that she wanted someone who is the complete opposite of David.
There is a lot that goes into finding compatibility with another person. Ambition is certainly one of the factors that should match up. Matching a go-getter with a more carefree, go-with-the-flow type has the potential for a lot of conflict in a relationship.
Married at First Sight fans will have to tune in for more episodes to see how things play out. However, between what Michelle said, and their different outlooks on life, it certainly seems like these two were not a good match.
