‘Live With Kelly & Mark’ Promotes ‘Final’ Halloween Special
Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos recently just made a big announcement on Live With Kelly and Mark. A special tradition is coming to an end on the show. However, the show is planning on going all out as they bid the tradition farewell.
Of Course, The Farewell Comes With A Twist
The two Live hosts made an announcement just in time for the spooky season. They revealed to fans that they will soon be watching one of the show’s final Halloween episodes in its current studio.
The series is still expected to have future Halloween episodes. It’s just that they will be filmed in different locations.
A promo video promoted the series’ upcoming Halloween special. As a narrator explained, “Live has been daytime’s home for Halloween.” It continued, “as we make our final Halloween show in our home of nearly four decades and prepare to head to a brand new studio, we bid a fond farewell to a history of horrors.”
“Celebrate a tradition of terror for one last time in our beloved studio. Just this one day, it’s only Halloween in the building.”
The video showed the hosts in a variety of costumes they’ve worn over the years, such as Sonny and Cher and Barbie and Ken. The video also notably had an Only Murders in the Building theme.

The show has promoted the Halloween special in other ways. On Instagram, the show recently uploaded an episode featuring the crew changing into their Halloween costumes.
A press release has also been released concerning the upcoming episode, offering fans a few hints on what to expect. The episode “will be a mysterious take on the biggest pop-culture moments of the past year.”
Live With Kelly & Mark Is Going All Out For Halloween
Some things fans can expect include “parodies of famous celebrity couples to groundbreaking sports events, from iconic Halloween cinema moments to wild takes on blockbuster animation.” In addition, the special will boast “over 40 incredible costumes, skits, music, dancing, singing and a few special surprises and celebrity guests with many shocking twists and turns!”
It’s also been noted that the show’s annual Halloween costume contest will also take place. Members of the studio audience will have the chance to win a piece of over $5,000 in prizes.
The week leading up to the special boasted a Halloween theme, starting since October 28. Episodes have featured last-minute costumes, party ideas, and even “no-carve pumpkins.” Guests have also included Jason Derulo, Robin Wright, Keri Russell, and Joey Fatone.
As noted by Soaps, Ripa talked about the upcoming move regarding studios in the October 1st episode. As she shared, “Allegedly, we’re moving downtown to this fancy schmancy state-of-the-art studio in SoHo…where we used to live, and this would have been convenient for us. But as soon as we move to the Upper East Side, now we want to move to SoHo. OK, whatever.”
