Jenn Tran Reveals Biggest Lesson From ‘Dancing With The Stars’
Jenn Tran took to social media ahead of her Week 7 Dancing With The Stars performance to beg fans to vote for her. She said she wasn’t ready to leave the competition just yet. But ready or not, the Bachelor Nation star was the latest celeb eliminated. Keep reading to find out the biggest lesson she learned from the show.
Jenn Tran ‘Grateful’ For Opportunity
Jenn Tran’s shocking elimination from Dancing With The Stars must have stung. She was tied for third place on the leaderboard but was still sent home. But the Bachelor Nation star remained as gracious as ever during a post-show chat with Us Weekly. She said that being on the dance competition was one of her dreams.
“I grew up watching the show and dreaming to be on it. Every week I got to live out my dreams in rehearsals, getting to dance, getting to put on a performance and then getting a 10.”
She earned her first and last 10 during the Halloween episode when she danced a Contemporary to “Vampire” by Olivia Rodrigo. The Bachelor Nation star received a 28 out of 30 for the routine. Jenn added three more points for a total of 31 after winning a dance-off against Olympic medalist Stephen Nedoroscik and his partner, Rylee Arnold.
“I’m so happy and grateful and proud that we were able to work hard and get that 10. It just proves that anybody can do anything they put their mind to,” Jenn Tran added about her time on DWTS.
Her Biggest Lesson From Dancing With The Stars
Jenn Tran wasn’t supposed to be on Season 33 of Dancing With The Stars. She was added at the last minute after her breakup with Bachelorette suitor Devin Strader went viral on social media. Despite her late entry, she more than made up for it on the dance floor.
Not only did she learn the routines, she learned some things about herself. She told Us Weekly that she found out how strong she really is.
“I can take a lot more than I thought. I always had thick skin growing up, but this environment, being here, it’s a lot. To put endless hours of work into a dance, and then to have one minute to prove yourself. That’s a lot of pressure mentally, and every week I proved to myself that I could do it under the pressure. I’m just so proud of myself that I could do that.”
