It is Christmas, and the students have all gone home for the holidays. But, the faculty and locals get ready for their annual Christmas tradition. This is the annual Christmas Bar Trivia Tournament. Celeste is good at giving the right answer and cannot wait. However, Celeste is dismayed that her colleague can’t participate. They are headed to Asia for a book tour. Therefore, they need to add Max to the team.
Celeste is none too pleased. She doesn’t even hide it. He is a big football goofball. She thinks he is going to make them lose. He thinks she is too uptight, and they clash about everything. But, she is quickly disproved because he is answering all of the sports trivia. This has always been her team’s weakest part of this competition.
“Initial clashes between the two eventually turn into mutual appreciation as the team enjoys scavenger hunts on campus, decorating the international house with Christmas lights, baking Christmas cookies, and advancing toward the championship trivia game.
