Clare Crawley Reveals How She’ll Explain TV Past To Daughter
Clare Crawley had a dream to be a wife and mother and she refused to let anything stop it from happening. Fans first met her as a contestant on The Bachelor in 2014. It would take over a decade and multiple reality TV appearances for that dream to come true. And when it did, it was with someone in her ‘own backyard,’ as she recently told E! News.
The reality star was famously chided by Bachelorette contestant Yosef Aborady. He called her out for her “classless” behavior and told her she wasn’t “fit” to be a mother to his child. Her relationship with Bachelorette winner Dale Moss didn’t last long. What does she plan to tell her daughter, Rowen, about her time on the reality TV franchise?
“Mom was putting herself out there. Mom was believing in herself. Mom was following her heart. And regardless of if it’s a reality show or something else in life, I want to be the example for Rowen of, she followed her heart, she did what she wanted to do.”
Bachelorette Alum Opens Up About How Relationship With Husband Began
Clare Crawley married Ryan Dawkins in 2023 and again in 2024. They welcomed their daughter via surrogacy in January. Unlike her reality TV relationships, Clare and Ryan took their time. She opened up to E! News about how she initially turned him down because she was “broken” after her split from Dale Moss. Her future husband was patient and understanding.
She said that when she was finally ready, they went to a baseball game on a date and have been together ever since. As for being a mom, Clare Crawley said it was everything she ever dreamed of and more.
The Bachelorette star admitted that she has “super challenging” days but wouldn’t change a thing. “I knew I wanted to be a mom, always in my gut. But even the little tiny things like going to the pumpkin patch or wearing the little carrier with her in it when I go grocery shopping, all the everyday things truly bring me so much joy,” she gushed.
