Kelly Ripa Announces End Of Fan Favorite Segment From ‘Live’

Kelly Ripa has been announcing a lot of changes to Live with Kelly and Mark so far this year. Her show is losing a long-time producer. The set is moving to a new location in November and then permanently moving in 2025. Now, she is ending one of her fan-favorite segments.
Here is what you need to know about the upcoming Live changes.
Live With Kelly & Mark Moving In 2025
Live With Kelly & Mark is moving to a new studio home in 2025. They have not picked out a home yet, but Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos have been hard at work scouting new locations.
Before that happens, there will be a big change in November, as Kelly and Mark are headed to the West Coast. While there, Live with Kelly and Mark will tape from Palm Springs while they vacation there for the next month. The episodes will be pre-taped and tickets are available.
The official move to a new studio, though, won’t happen until 2025, possibly as late as next season. That makes one wonder how much longer Kelly Ripa will stay on the series. She has hinted that she might want to retire along with her long-time producer, Art Moore. The studio change is delayed because he didn’t want to deal with it in his last few months on the show.
Moore has been with Live since almost the beginning and has worked through several hosts, with Kelly as the most recent.
Kelly Ripa Ending Halloween Show
Live has had an annual Halloween show filmed in the studio home it has resided in for close to 40 years. The show’s announcer, Deja Vu, said it was time to say goodbye to this beloved fan-favorite event. This is only one of the many changes coming to the show over the next few months.
This is an interesting move, and it makes one wonder if Kelly Ripa might still be contemplating retirement. Kelly and Mark have both made it clear that they love Halloween, and they have always devoted an entire episode to the holiday. However, they said this is the last year that the event will be filmed in this location.
The episode always has fun skits and sketches, with plenty of movie and TV stars involved. It also has plenty of costumes, with everyone dressing up for the day of fun. This entire series has been filmed in this studio for almost 40 years, predating Kelly by a long shot.
However, while this is the last time the episode will be filmed in this studio, there is a chance it could return in a different format in the new studio next year.

I have watched “Live” for years. But, since Kelly is an executive producer, there are more previously recorded shows than new ones…..it must be nice to work (1hr.) a day for 3 days and have 4 days off….and get the $$$$ they make…not fair for the viewers who watch. when they move, will it still only be 3 days of “Live?”
I agree! The show should be called Previously recorded with Kelly and Mark! Too many repeats too!!! Getting disgusted with the whole thing.
i stop watching it after mark came & most of the time it was recorded
Agree. I don’t watch the pre recorded shows. Have celebrity guest hosts if you want time off.
I agree it should not be called “LIVE”
as the conversation exchange on Thursday and Friday are very bland .
As long as stump Mark remains. That is what viewers really like.
