Did HGTV’s Christina Haack’s Ex-Husband Commit Fraud?
Christina Haack has three ex-husbands, all with their own brands and business ventures. But it seems one has gotten into serious hot water lately.
Christina Haack’s Second Husband Is Facing Legal Battles
HGTV star Christina Haack and her ex Ant Anstead seem to be on much better terms these days for the sake of their son.
But things are not at all well in his professional life.
According to PEOPLE, Ant Anstead’s carmaker, Radford Motors, is now filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. The initial filing took place on October 22, just after a business partner accused him of “fraud and misrepresentation,” documents obtained by the outlet state.
Fans of Christina Haack’s ex-husband know he’s always been wildly passionate about cars.
“Anstead and one of his business partners, Formula One champ Jenson Button, starred in the five-part docuseries Radford Reborn in April 2023, which followed the creation of their Lotus-Radford Type 62-2 supercar,” PEOPLE shares.
“This is personally a huge risk for me,” the 45-year-old told PEOPLE in a previous interview when their series initially launched, labeling it the “realest reality show yet.” “We have seven people, and we privately funded this. … We’re risking everything.”
Sadly, it seems that risking it all on this venture didn’t go according to plan. One lawsuit from an employee doesn’t look good, but Ant Anstead’s car company is looking at multiple legal complaints.

Christina Haack’s Ex, Ant Anstead, Has Multiple Complaints From Coworkers
PEOPLE goes on to report that Pastor (Pat) Velasco, a business partner who worked with Ant Anstead, filed a $2 million lawsuit against Antstead and another co-founder, Daniel Bednarski, on March 8. Then on July 24, co-owner Roger N. Behle Jr. filed a complaint that Anstead and Bednarski had “mismanaged the company’s finances.”
“The July complaint alleges that back in January, Anstead and Bednarski — who the filing claims was Anstead’s life coach prior to becoming Radford’s chief financial officer — secured a new sale of $100,000. However, hours after the money was wired, Anstead and Bednarski ‘took $54,635.52 from this deposit and used it to pay a vendor for work unrelated to the new client’s vehicle,'” the publication reports.
A mere 29 minutes later, Bednarski reportedly wired himself $20,000 from the new client’s funds. The lawsuit also alleges Anstead and Bednarski used company funds to pay for their personal expenses.

Daniel Bednarski Seems Optimistic In His Official Statement
Ant Anstead apparently couldn’t be reached to comment, but PEOPLE received an official statement from Bednarski. It reads,
“Radford Motors is going through a Chapter 11 Business restructure that will be implementing strategic changes to strengthen our foundation for the future. During this process, it’s expected that certain ownership transitions will occur, which is an important step in our evolution. We are excited about the road ahead and remain focused on continuing business as usual with renewed energy and purpose.”
