‘American Idol’ Judge Luke Bryan Shares Exciting New Job
American Idol judge and country music star Luke Bryan has recently announced he’ll be taking on a new job. This comes out after Bryan has had a successful career in music and as a TV personality. The star even shared a statement saying his new project has been an “honor.”
Luke Bryan Has Had Quite A Career Already
Bryan has worn quite a few hats over the years. In addition to being a country music star, he has famously been a judge on American Idol since 2018.
The singer’s career has proved to be a successful one, with him being considered one of the world’s best-selling musicians. His recent song “Love You, Miss You, Mean It” even became his 31st #1 single.
However, the star recently revealed a new career move. He will partner with the Jockey clothing brand to open a Nashville store. The retail spot will be known as Coopers 12South and will be located in Nashville’s 12 South neighborhood.
As noted by Parade, a press release claimed that the store “pays homage to the Nashville music scene, embraces Luke Bryan’s love of the great outdoors, and gives a hat tip to the Jockey brand story, centering on family, community and tradition.” Reportedly, the store is named in honor of Jockey’s founder Reverend Samuel T. Cooper.
Customers will be able to purchase “quality-crafted clothing inspired by the Nashville music scene,” in addition to limited-edition Jockey Outdoors™ by Luke Bryan Collection merchandise. However, the place will be more than just a clothing store.
The New Space Will Be More Than A Store
Coopers 12South will also serve as a community center of sorts, where people can go to enjoy live music, attend workshops. The place will also showcase art installations made by local artists and designers.
In a statement, Bryan shared that, “I could not be more excited to partner with my friends at Jockey to open this store right here in Music City on 12South.” He continued that, “Coopers 12South is going to be such a great experience for everyone who enters our door while also focusing on being a good neighbor to those up and down that street.”

Bryan also shared that it was “an honor to not only shine a light on the outdoors I love to sing about and live every day but also offer a place for many others to share their visions and passions.” The space is expected to open some time in late November 2024.
