DWTS Season 33 just said goodbye to one more couple. No one wants to leave on Disney Night, but it was the end of the road for one pair after the individual routines and team dances.

Who advanced to next week’s episode and who said goodbye at the end of the night?

DWTS Fans Loved The Tributes To Their Favorite Disney Films

This season’s Disney Night featured routines from a wide range of films. From Encanto to Deadpool & Wolverine, there were fun performances for Disney lovers of all ages.

Since the cast list came out, many DWTS fans begged for Ilona Maher to do something from Encanto since she bore such a striking resemblance to a character, Luisa Madrigal. On Instagram, Alan and Ilona revealed they’d planned on doing it all along. They just couldn’t say anything about it until just before the performance.

They earned a 25/30 for their Jazz routine to “Surface Pressure” from Encanto with Ilona as Luisa and Alan as a donkey.

Although their Disney Night routine scored well, Ilona has still been hovering near the bottom of the leaderboard. Her fans have been worried her scores will result in her elimination. Were votes enough to get her through to next week?

Chandler Kinney and Brandon Armstrong also managed to retake the top of the leaderboard after struggling last week. But as last week proved, absolutely anyone can end up in the bottom. Celebrities and their dance partners still need votes to advance.

The Team Routines Definitely Made A Difference This Season

After the individual routines, the top eight had a chance to fight for more bonus points in the team dances. Team Goofs faced off against Team Roar, with the Goofs pulling ahead and winning this portion of the night.

That gave an advantage to team members Ilona Maher, Joey Graziadei, Jenn Tran, and Chandler Kinney, meaning the others were certainly closer to elimination.

Ultimately, reality star Phaedra Parks and Val Chmerkovskiy left at the end of the night. Their Jazz routine to “Cruella de Vil” from One Hundred and One DalmatiansĀ earned a 24/30 from judges, but they didn’t receive enough votes.

What did you think about the elimination tonight? Do you agree, or do you think someone else deserved to go home instead? Be sure to leave your own thoughts and ideas in the comments.

Next week will be the special Halloween episode. The top seven couples will go head to head as they inch closer to the season finale and the Mirrorball Trophy.
