Christina Haack SLAMS Ex’s Request For Spousal Support
Christina Haack is absolutely livid as her messy divorce from Josh Hall continues.
As TV Shows Ace previously shared, she recently dropped Josh’s last name and started using her maiden name, “Haack,” again. While she’s happy to be rid of the name “Hall,” she might have Josh Hall bothering her for a little while longer.
According to recent documentation, there’s been some arguing over spousal support. Read on to learn more.
Christina Haack’s Attorney Thinks Josh Hall’s Request Is Ridiculous
When Christina and Josh Hall decided to end their marriage, the HGTV star said she understood she might need to pay spousal support at some point. However, she finds the amount requested completely outrageous.
Us Weekly reports that Christina Haack filed paperwork asserting that her ex-husband gave her a “good faith settlement offer” that requested “$65,000 per month in spousal support from [Christina] on a 2-year, 9 month marriage.” In turn, Christina’s attorney called the offer “hardly good faith.”
“The court is familiar with offers labeled as ‘Good Faith’ settlement offers which are not in fact made in good faith. The claim by [Josh] that he sent a Good Faith settlement offer is not a fair characterization in my opinion,” Christina’s lawyer officially stated. “Josh Hall is requesting $65,000 per month in spousal support from [Christina] on a 2 year, 9 month marriage, which is outrageous when he is self-supporting.”
The HGTV Star Wants To Sell The Tennessee Property
Josh Hall and Christina Haack can’t agree on selling their Tennessee property either. After leaving their martial home, Josh reportedly took up residence in their Tennessee home. Recently, Christina announced she planned to sell it. Josh fired back with a legal request to temporarily halt the sale.
In turn, Christina went on to slam Josh online, asserting that he was trying to steal from her.
“And yes this is ‘stealing’ from me and my family. Asking for an obscene amount of $$ from me for a short term marriage is factual,” the former Flip or Flop star posted on her Instagram stories in a very long, angry rant. “Stealing my rental income for 2 of my sole and separate homes is factual (booking a cleaner does not make you a property manager) I have one who gets a % for her actual work of being a property manager.”
This celebrity break-up has been quickly escalating since news broke over the summer. Only one thing is clear — the right is far from over.
