1000-Lb Sisters star Amy Slaton hasn’t been very active on social media over the last few months. Sometimes TLC stars disappear from social media and reemerge when their show has a new season. 1000-Lb Sisters is back on TLC, but some fans can’t help but wonder if Amy’s absence had anything to do with her recent arrest on drug charges.
As fans recall, authorities apprehended her and a male companion after finding illegal substances in her car. They arrived on the scene after Amy alleged a camel bit her at the zoo. Upon finding the drugs, they took her and the male companion into custody.
But as the new season of 1000-Lb Sisters continues, Amy Slaton is back on Instagram. What did she share?
Amy Slaton Shows Off Her Sons On Social Media
The drug charges likely contributed to Amy’s decision to shy away from social media. But in reality, she hasn’t posted anything on Instagram since July. She celebrated her son Glenn’s second birthday with a sweet post.
But now, Amy Slaton is back on the platform with a new update.
“2024” the mother of two simply captioned her Instagram post. She attached updated photos of Glenn and Gage for fans to see. The boys are dressed in matching Halloween pajamas playing on the floor.

After the TLC star’s arrest, fans became understandably concerned about her children. Instagram users were relieved to see the boys happy and smiling together. Amy’s Instagram followers wrote:

- “I see a lot of Amanda in Gage, I’m kinda glad he’s looking less like his dad.”

The TLC Star’s Mental Health Has Been Up & Down This Season
This season of 1000-Lb Sisters follows Amy Slaton adjusting to life as a single mother. At first, she was visibly distraught over her split from Michael Halterman. But through the help of her family, she seems to be on the right track and healing.
In fact, she even lost a significant amount of weight. During a family weigh-in, Amy learns she lost more weight than she was initially anticipating. She joked that her secret to weight loss included a messy divorce and caring for two toddlers. Like her siblings, Amy would love nothing more than to have skin removal surgery. But that might not be as easy.
