Fantasy Suites Will Look Different This Season
The first season of The Golden Bachelorette only has a month or so left until it reaches a dramatic conclusion. Joan Vassos previously said that she’s okay with the season not ending in an engagement. She made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! earlier this week to promote the show.

During her interview with Jimmy Kimmel, he brought up the fun fact that Joan Vassos was an extra in a cult classic movie from the 1980s. She rode her bike in the background of a scene in St. Elmo’s Fire. The 1985 flick starred Emilio Estevez, Demi Moore, Andrew McCarthy, and Rob Lowe.
Joan Vassos told the talk show host that she was able to meet Rob Lowe during filming the movie and has had a massive crush on him ever since. Jimmy Kimmel jokingly asked if Joan would dump whoever won the show for Rob Lowe. “Like, in one second,” she responded, prompting the audience to erupt in cheers.
Rob Lowe’s Advice For Joan
Word of Joan Vassos’ crush got back to the Lone Star 9-1-1 actor. Entertainment Tonight asked him if he had any advice for her going into The Golden Bachelorette. Rob Lowe suggested that Joan should look for “somebody that makes you laugh.”
Rob Lowe has been happily married since 1991, so it’s unlikely Joan will have to choose between the actor and her winner. What do you think of her crush on the actor? Sound off in the comments.
