Kate Gosselin In Good Spirits Despite Child Abuse Allegations
There has been a lot of news recently about Kate Gosselin. Most of it has come from her son Collin, who alleged that she abused him when he was a young child. However, while Kate’s attorneys have spoken for her, she has been mostly silent. She was just seen for the first time since the accusations and was all laughs.

Kate Gosselin Seen Laughing After Collin Accusations
Collin Gosselin made some horrific accusations against his mother, Kate, in a recent interview. After Kate helped get Collin kicked out of the Marines while saying he needed to be locked away for everyone’s safety, he brought his own medical records to prove his mother wrong.
Kate claimed he had several mental disorders, which Collin’s medical records show he does not have. Kate also said he should be institutionalized, even after he graduated high school with honors. This got the Marines to discharge him, thanks to his mother having him institutionalized as a child.
Collin also said that his mother would zip-tie his hands and feet and lock him in a basement room for hours with only a bed and a camera watching him when he was 10. Collin said after he told his teachers what was happening at home, his mother had him institutionalized.
Jon Gosselin admitted the room existed, and he stood by his son. After Kate made the disparaging comments about Collin that got him booted from the Marines, she said she wouldn’t talk about it anymore.
She remained silent, but photographers recently caught her in public for the first time since Collin’s interview. She was spending some time with some friends and seemed to be laughing. Her friends also allowed her to hold their baby.
Kate Gosselin’s Attorneys Say She Did What She Had To Do
One of Kate Gosselin’s attorneys said that what Collin said “sounds horrific,” but Kate did what she had to do to protect her other children, and what she did was not “harmful.” His remarks make it sound like Collin is telling the truth, but, her attorney makes it seem like Kate had no choice but to zip-tie a 10-year-old and lock him away in the basement.
There were medical records obtained by The US Sun that showed Kate had him diagnosed with bipolar disorder, autism, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and many other mental afflictions as a child.
Kate sent him away and only visited him once in two years. However, Collin has his current medical records that show he does not have any of those conditions.
