Kathy Swarts Gets Honest About Going Under The Knife

Both seniors are still on the hunt to find love in their golden years. Kathy Swarts candidly revealed on social media that she just went under the knife to help her look a little younger. According to her Instagram post, she had a lower facelift and CO2 laser treatment.

CO2 laser treatment is a non-invasive cosmetic procedure used to rejuvenate and enhance the appearance of the skin. It works by directing short, concentrated pulsing beams of light at irregular skin, precisely removing skin layers one at a time. The laser stimulates collagen production, promoting new skin growth. The procedure is commonly used to treat fine lines, wrinkles, age spots, blemishes, and uneven skin tone and texture.

The procedure typically focuses on the area from the corners of the mouth to the collarbone. The primary goals of a lower facelift include:

  • Reducing jowls: These are the sagging skin folds that can develop in the lower cheeks and jawline as we age.
  • Defining the jawline: A lower facelift can help create a more defined, angular jawline by removing excess skin and tightening the underlying tissue.
  • Smoothing the neck: The procedure often includes work on the neck to eliminate a “turkey gobbler” appearance or reduce the appearance of neck bands.

The lower facelift can take weeks of recovery. Luckily, Kathy has her bestie, Susan Noles, there to help.
