‘DWTS’ Dedication Night: Who Went Home?
DWTS Season 33 just presented Dedication Night. The top nine couples performed special routines dedicated to someone who helped transform their lives. From parents to teams, each contestant had an incredible story to tell about a remarkable person who touched their hearts.
Sadly, it was also the end of the road for one hardworking couple. Who continued to Disney Night and who said goodbye?
DWTS Says Goodbye To Another Couple On Dedication Night
Last week, DWTS Season 33 lost actors Eric Roberts and Reginald VelJohnson. Due to their low scores, viewers fully expected them to leave at the end of that night. But the remaining couples are extremely competitive and vying for the top spot on the leaderboard.
The competition is only getting heavier from here on out. Everyone wants to stay and it’s clear they’re putting in the effort.
Although NBA star Dwight Howard and Daniella Karagach have been hovering around the bottom of the leaderboard, they dramatically improved their scores. During Soul Train Night, they scored a 23/40. Tonight, they took home a 29/40. But was it enough to keep them in the competition for another week?
Dwight and Daniella had a bit of a scare when they landed in the bottom this week, but ultimately they’ll advance to Disney Week. Sadly, it was the end of the road for Brooks Nader and Gleb Savchenko.
They had a great time performing with Brooks’ sisters this week, but didn’t receive enough votes to continue.
Since it was Dedication Night, Derek Hough and his wife Hayley performed a stunning routine to commemorate their love and honor Hayley’s recovery. They moved many fans to tears with their performance.

Will Danny Amendola Be The Next Mirrorball Trophy Winner?
Although goodbyes are always difficult, Dedication Night was an overwhelmingly beautiful experience for performers and viewers alike. Many cast members started to tear up talking about the loved ones to whom they dedicated their performances.
NFL star Danny Amendola and his partner Witney Carson took the ballroom by storm when they scored a 36/40 for their Contemporary routine to “Unsteady (Erich Lee Gravity Remix)” by X Ambassadors. The judges were pleasantly surprised with how Danny opened up and became vulnerable in the performance, dedicated in memory of his late coach.
Anyone could reasonably win at this point, but many DWTS fans agree that Danny Amendola is the dark horse in this competition.
