‘Sister Wives’ Janelle & Christine Brown Talk New Spin-Off
It’s not uncommon for TLC to offer spin-offs to fan-favorite reality stars. Now that Sister Wives is no longer centered around a functioning polygamist family, it seems plausible a spin-off could be in the works. Would the network offer Janelle and Christine Brown their very own show?
Janelle & Christine Brown Share Their Thoughts On A Potential Spin-Off
Over the past 19 seasons, many Sister Wives viewers have grown tired of Kody and Robyn. They believe the pair constantly manipulate and mistreat the other members of the Brown family. In fact, many viewers no longer want to see Kody and Robyn on their screens. They wouldn’t at all be sad to see them written off somehow.
But if that isn’t possible, a new spin-off starring Janelle and Christine Brown would be a great solution.
So far, TLC hasn’t yet confirmed any sort of Sister Wives spin-off. But if one is ever in the works, Janelle and Christine are open to starring roles.
The women recently attended a gala for TLC stars. Afterward, they shared a bit about their lives and future plans with the media. Naturally, the question of a spin-off came up.
“Let’s just keep putting that out there!” Christine confirmed in an interview with Access Hollywood. “Yes, I would work with Janelle for the rest of my life!”
“Wherever you go, I go,” Janelle replied.
The Sister Wives Stars Express Gratitude For Their Fans
The interviewer went on to ask how the women feel about being fan favorites.
“It’s really an honor,” Janelle continued. “I don’t know, we can be relatable. I think it’s awesome.”
“It’s an absolute honor,” Christine agreed. “So many people come up to us and they say how we’ve touched their lives in some way, or given them courage or given them hope. And that’s the best thing to hear because when we went public, we were just hoping people would accept us as people. And just to be loved has been amazing.”
Of course, getting a spin-off starring just Janelle and Christine would certainly infuriate Kody. The interviewer went on to ask about any special message they’d like to leave their ex-husband.
“Have fun together!” Christine chimed in immediately. However, Janelle felt that she didn’t have much to say.
“Please go forward, let’s all be peaceful and have a good life,” she added.
Christine also added that she wanted Kody and Robyn to just move forward with their lives and be happy.
“Be happy! They don’t seem very happy,” she continued. “I want them to just be happy! You have each other, you deserve each other, please just enjoy your life.”
