Why Erin Andrews Is Uncertain About Having Another Baby
Erin Andrews has been on the sidelines of some of the biggest sporting events in history. She’s helped grow the role of Sideline Reporter throughout her incredible career. Andrews’ personal life has always been talked about as well. The famed reporter is married to former NHL player Jarret Stoll. The couple recently welcomed their first child to the world, via surrogacy, 15 months ago. That’s one of the reasons Andrews didn’t stop working before the birth of her son. Andrews recently talked with E! News about her and her husband’s plans to expand their family. Surprisingly, Andrews isn’t as sure about having another child as one would think.
Erin Andrews Isn’t Sure About Having Another Baby
Prior to having a child via surrogacy, Andrews struggled to get pregnant for years. She lost two embryos prior to finding out their surrogate was pregnant with their child. While it was a sigh of relief, Andrews expressed that the process gave her tons of anxiety. She explained:
“It’s crazy, because once you get back on the phone with your fertility doctor and you start talking about the journey again, PTSD all comes back of how crappy you felt, how numb your body gets, just the fear of loss.”
It’s clear the last thing Andrews wants is to go through the same debilitating feeling that came last time she did this. However, Andrews has acknowledged that Stoll has been the perfect partner for her. The duo have gone through this journey together, which has made it easier on them both.
Will Andrews And Stoll Have Another Child?
Andrews also talked about the fact that the pair are still open to the idea of having another child. It’s something they’re thinking through thoroughly, though. The sideline reporter talked about it by saying:
“We’re talking about trying it again. And I was really, really honest with my doctor a couple weeks ago. I just said, ‘We’ve had so much high with the birth of Mack and how great he’s doing that I don’t want to go back to that place of failure again, and I’m really, really afraid of it.'”

There’s nothing wrong with wanting to avoid a feeling of failure. Both Andrews and Stoll have been wildly successful at their careers, and seemingly everything else they’ve done in their lives. Andrews did clear it up and say that even through all the infertility struggles, seeing her baby makes her feel as though it was all worth it. She said:
“There’s nothing about the infertility journey that I would say is great, except your end product. When you are able to have the baby and you’re like, ‘Wow, you were worth it.'”
No matter what Andrews and Stoll decide to do, they’ll do whatever is right for them, which is all that matters. What are your thoughts on Andrews’ reason for being unsure about having another child? Let us know in the comments below.
