According to TV Insider, this is what Scouting For Christmas is all about. Realtor Angela is busier than ever. A single mom for two years, she keeps busy with her job and 10-year-old daughter, Brooklyn. Her ex-husband Dakota was a great guy. However, he is a paleontologist who spent all of his time away from the family. Their divorce was amicable. Moreover, Angela is used to doing things on her own.
She does her best to get Brooklyn to all of her events, as well as deal with last-minute changes at work. It is quite a balancing act. Even Angela admits that sometimes she wishes she had help.
It is Christmas time and Angela seems busier than ever. She is late getting Brooklyn to her scout meetings, and Angela knows when other moms disapprove of her tardiness. Meanwhile, Brooklyn has decided that William, who owns their favorite bakery, should be hired for the troop’s holiday bash. He is always nice to her, but most importantly, he is nice to her mom. Now, she needs her mom’s help to convince the other scout moms to hire him.
“Despite sensing that her daughter might be trying to play cupid, she agrees to help and finds herself enjoying time with him, but is reluctant to open her heart and life to someone new. When Dakota returns, missing her, Angela must decide what is best for her daughter and best for her heart.”
