‘Teen Mom’ Adam Lind Arrested On Domestic Violence Charges
It has been revealed that Teen Mom 2 dad Adam Lind was arrested and is facing three misdemeanor domestic charges. Chelsea DeBoer‘s ex has the most arrests out of any of the Teen Mom stars. Now, it seems like the list of crimes is just getting longer. So, what led to his latest arrest? Here’s everything we know so far.
Adam Lind Hit With 3 Misdemeanor DV Charges
On September 22, Chelsea DeBoer’s ex Adam Lind was arrested and booked in Minnehaha County. The Teen Mom alum is facing several domestic violence charges, including domestic abuse simple assault attempt to cause bodily injury, domestic abuse simple assault recklessly causes bodily injury, and domestic abuse simple assault intentionally cause bodily injury.
In the complaint against Adam, it says that he intentionally caused bodily injury, but it did not result in a serious injury. The alleged victim is a 37-year-old woman from Sioux Falls. Her address is the same as Adam’s, so it is safe to say that it’s his current girlfriend. At this time, a no-contact order has been put in place between the Teen Mom alum and the alleged victim.
Adam was released soon after being booked. He is scheduled for a pretrial conference on November 4 and his trial will take place on November 20.
Teen Mom Cast Members Have A Knack For Getting Arrested
The Teen Mom cast has become known for the massive number of arrests over the years. Out of 35 parents who have appeared on the show, 19 have been in handcuffs at some point. Of course, this isn’t the first time Adam Lind has been locked up either.
One Reddit user GoldenState_Thriller compiled a list of all the arrests of the Teen Mom cast members a few years ago. They pointed out that Chelsea DeBoer’s ex Adam Lind has the “most arrests by far.” The person continued, “If you add up Jenelle, Nathan, and David’s arrests it’s still lower than Adam’s.” He has been arrested 36 times, and 5 of those arrests were related to domestic violence.
The news of Adam’s latest arrest got to Teen Mom fans on Reddit. No one was really surprised, but many people had been wondering what Adam’s been up to.
- “I swear someone just commented on a Rhine post the other day asking where Adam’s been lol,” one person commented.
- “Whatever happened to the third strike rule? He should be locked away from society,” another chimed in.
- A third pointed out that Adam may have fell back into his old ways. They wrote, “It is shame, Chelsea implied he was sober a few years ago ago. Sounds like he slipped hard back into addiction.”
- Yet another person virtually rolled their eyes, “Oh no the guy on steroids with an extensive violence record hit somebody? no I won’t believe it.”
Teen Mom fans last saw Adam Lind on Teen Mom 2 in 2016. While he has been staying out of the spotlight, he certainly hasn’t been staying out of trouble.
