This recent sexual assault lawsuit is shedding new light on a lot of things surrounding the singer as well, such as his long marriage to fellow country artist Trisha Yearwood. In the sexual assault allegations, the alleged victim claims that Garth Brooks not only sexually assaulted her, but also sexually harassed her via sending explicit/lewd text messages. In the lawsuit, it also alleges that Brooks “pressured her into sexting with him.”

If that were not incendiary enough, the lawsuit even alleges that the famous country legend r*ped her in a hotel room in 2019.

With accusations like these, it’s understandable how they are completely shaking the foundation of everything Garth Brooks has built over the last few decades, including his public image as a family man.

See Leaked Text Messages Between Singer And Accuser

With this current scandal being a hot-button topic and making countless headlines, the text messages between Garth Brooks and his accuser have been making the rounds online, with outlets like InTouch publishing them for the world to read.

  • One of the text exchanges reads: “warm fact! And that huge stick you carry! Roo-sevelt!!”
  • Replying to the first message, the next message says: “I’ll take that nick-name Thank you I love you.”

The lawsuit even alleges that Garth Brooks had more than one cellphone and several email addresses to communicate with his accuser, with this text exchange more than likely coming from that.

Garth Brooks and his team have been doing their best to do damage control since this scandal first broke. However, with text messages like these going into evidence and leaking to the public, it begs the question of what else may be inside this latest can of worms.
