DOOL Star Stacy Haiduk Teases New Horror Movie Role
Stacy Haiduk had the difficult job of taking over as Kristen DiMera and her many doppelgangers from fan-favorite Eileen Davidson in 2018. While DOOL fans were initially reluctant to accept the recast, Stacy Haiduk won them over.
At the moment, neither of the characters are in a front-burner storyline. That gives the actress free time for other creative endeavors. She took to her Instagram last week to share exciting news about her latest project.
Stacy Haiduk co-starred and co-directed a short film called Brand New Cadillac. The film is a family affair. The script was written by her husband, Bradford Tatum. The couple’s daughter, Riverdale actress Sophia Tatum, co-stars in it and also serves as co-director.
According to Collider, the Thelma & Louise-esque movie tells the story of a vampire and her serial killer daughter as they take a cross-country road trip. The outlet describes the movie: “Embarking on a journey in their classic white Cadillac, the pair cruise through the desert on the hunt for their next meal. But no mother-daughter dynamic is that easy.”

Stacy Haiduk took to her social media to reveal a release date and drop a trailer for the short film. Unfortunately, the flick will only premiere in California for now. The actress wrote, “Come join us Sunday Oct 13th at 4:15pm @screamfestla at the TCL Chinese 6 Theatre in Hollywood!!”
