Ryan Seacrest is settling in as the Wheel of Fortune host. While the fan reaction has been split, he seems to be getting comfortable in his role. However, some fans feel that more changes are coming. While Vanna White signed a new deal in the offseason, there are thoughts Seacrest might push her out.

Here is what we know about the rumors about Ryan Seacrest wanting to make changes.

Ryan Seacrest Might Push Vanna White Out At Wheel Of Fortune?

Ryan Seacrest has brought a youthful personality to Wheel of Fortune. After four decades of Pat Sajak growing into the role as host, Ryan seems to have brought a new energy to the show. Of course, for fans of Sajak and the past, Vanna White is still around to make those fans happy.

One insider said that Ryan Seacrest has a swagger on set now that he has seen that the ratings have risen with him as the host (via Closer Weekly). They say he is now looking at more changes he can make to the show. According to the source, one of the ideas is getting rid of Vanna White, 67.

The source said Ryan might want to make changes to the “flow” of the show. This might mean bringing in a younger hostess to keep the youthful energy of the show trending in the right direction. They claim that Ryan might have the power to “override” Vanna’s Wheel of Fortune contract.

“If he wants to bring a younger, more modern hostess he probably can do that even if Vanna has done a deal,” the source said. “The pressure is on to keep the numbers up, and what Ryan’s brilliant at is flogging people around him to do his bidding.”

Ryan Seacrest Might Also Be Struggling Behind The Scenes

While this source claims Ryan Seacrest is walking around with a swagger, another source claims the host is struggling behind the scenes. This second source said that Ryan reads all the online criticism, which is taking a toll on him. They said he is even looking into therapy to help him deal with the negativity.

There are some fans who feel that Ryan seems like an upbeat and happy guy on TV, but he might lack empathy when players lose their games. In a recent episode, a woman lost out on $100,000, and Ryan acted like it was no big deal as she dealt with the loss. Fans say Pat Sajak would have shown he felt bad for her.

As a result, many fans feel he is not the best person to be on a game show where there are real people losing out on prizes.

  1. Ryan is only a mighty person in his own mind.Since.he took Pats place I, like many others have turned it off.Everyone loves Vanna but Ryan needs to go.He thinks to highly of himself.

  2. Ryan Seacrest is everywhere . American Idol , New Year’s Eve, Radio Show, used to be on with Kelly Ripa . I’m sick of him . Give someone new a chance . Someone younger . He’s too old and overexposed.

    1. I agree, seacrest need to leave Vanna along. I no longer watch the Wheel, as for as I am concerned, Seacrest does not have the personality for the Wheel Of Fortune.

    2. Vanna adds class and experience. Ryan is a ptuz. No personality youd be better off with a robt than Ryan..it has more personality and empathy.

  3. He is not WORTH talking about. Very poor judgement on the management team hiring him. Send him packing!!!!!! Everyone LOVES Vanna; we never want to loose her.

  4. Seacrest is okay. We have to get used to a thing called change ! Vanna should stay.
She is a breath of fresh air.

  5. I think he is so fake. She so real and human. If he indeed reads the on line comments I certainly don’t want to cause him stress but maybe if it does, this is a sign that something is not right for him. Throwing her under the bus doesn’t fix his insecurity.
Do another Dick Clark’s Rock’n Eve and maybe someday in will be named after you when you pass.
