Will Brittany Mahomes Be Part Of New Bravo ‘WAGs’ Series?
Bravo loves to make reality TV shows out of people connected to celebrities or wealthy people. It allows the network to make celebs out of those people, which is how the Real Housewives franchise became popular. The network also likes to focus on WAGs (wives and girlfriends of athletes). Basketball Wives is a good example of that. Now, they might be looking at Brittany Mahomes.
Here is what we know about the possible new Bravo series.
Is Bravo Making A Show About Brittany Mahomes?
The most famous and popular girlfriend from the world of the NFL’s Kansas City Chiefs is easily Taylor Swift. She is dating tight end Travis Kelce, and they are always in the news. However, Taylor being part of this world has made other WAGs from the team popular. This includes quarterback Patrick Mahomes’s wife, Brittany Mahomes.
There are now rumors that Bravo is making a new TV series about the WAGs of the Kansas City Chiefs. While there is almost no chance that Taylor Swift will be part of the series based on her overwhelming popularity and price tag, Brittany Mahomes is the biggest bet to be on the show as the lead.
While this is interesting, there is still a lot of work to be done before the series is greenlit (via PEOPLE). The network is still trying to figure out who would be in the final cast, and what players might also make appearances on the show.
The rumors indicate that Brittany Mahomes, while the most recognizable of the Kansas City Chiefs WAGs, might not take part in the reality TV series.
Who Would Be In Kansas City Chiefs WAGs Reality TV Series?
According to the reports, Bravo has already been filming the reality TV show, but they will have plenty of footage to edit together into the season. That said, they have not decided who they will focus on and who will be considered the main cast members.
They do claim that Brittany Mahomes and Lyndsay Bell (Blake Bell’s wife) reportedly did not film for the series. Instead, it sounds like two main cast members could be wide receiver Mecole Hardman Jr.’s fiancé Chariah Gordon and Shawna Weathersby, who shares two kids with defensive tackle Chris Jones.
“The action is all centered around Chariah and Shawna and their group of friends, who all know the struggles of being partners to these workaholic athletes,” a source said.
