Hallmark Hunk Tyler Hynes has a lot going on the remainder of 2024. Although he is promoting his trilogy The Groomsmen, he can’t help but include some fun stories about his upcoming Countdown To Christmas movie Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story.
When Tyler spoke to People, he revealed that a co-star of The Groomsmen gave him the perfect gift for his Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce-inspired romcom. He revealed that this helped helped him “get ready.”
The actor who played my daughter, she’s a big Swiftie, so she got me into Taylor Swift in preparation for the other movie. So, that was a dream. I appreciate that.
Hynie Gave Special Bracelet To Hallmark Hunk
Fans who tune in to The Groomsmen will need to look for a “Swiftie-style friendship bracelet.” This is a scene with Tyler Hynes and the his character’s daughter. This bracelet was from a fan who gave it to him at a convention. It says “Hynies,” the name of his fan group. This is meant to be a “quiet wink” to his legion of fans.
Apparently, Tyler has a collection of Hynies bracelets as he wore a different one at this interview.

What Is Hallmark’s Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story about?
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s love story has inspired so many Swifties around the world. Now there is a Hallmark Christmas movie, Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story, that takes place in Kansas City and revolves around the Kansas City Chiefs.
Firstly, Young and The Restless alum Hunter King stars alongside Tyler Hynes in this new NFL-themed Christmas movie. She plays Alana Higman. Alana is a Chiefs superfan. Moreover, her family are diehard Chiefs fans. Therefore, she enters the Fan Of The Year contest and the Higman family is one of three finalists.
In comes Tyler’s character Derrick. He is in charge of Fan Engagement for the team. His job is to figure out which family deserves to win this prize. Simultaneously, he and Alana start a romance. Everything is dreamy and romantic until Grandpa loses his lucky Chiefs vintage hat. Now, Alana has doubts about everything.
But, this is Christmas and the time of magic. Perhaps Santa can make things work out?
The premiere of Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story is on Saturday, November 30, at 8 p.m., Eastern, on the Hallmark Channel.
