Where Do Jax Taylor & Tom Sandoval Stand Amid Divorce?

Jax Taylor and Tom Sandoval were best friends when Vanderpump Rules began and nothing could break them. Not even Jax sleeping with Sandoval’s girlfriend and their co-star, Kristen Doute two times. They eventually broke up and their friendship was always up and down but Jax and Sandoval still had each other’s backs. Unfortunately, they did hit a rough patch the summer before Jax married Brittany Cartwright in Season 8. Their pastor had said some unfortunate things about the LGBTQ+ community and Sandoval took it up with Jax. That did not go over well and he took Sandoval out of the wedding party.

He was soon invited back to make things nice and easy but things were never the same. When Jax and Brittany were let go after Season 8, their friendship was over with Sandoval. When he cheated on Ariana Madix with Rachel Leviss, launching ‘Scandoval,’ Jax and Brittany resurfaced. They had a show on Peacock, a new podcast, and a VPR spinoff, The Valley. Jax even appeared in Season 11 of VPR, and he and Sandoval looked very hot and cold. Now that Jax is going through a divorce, is their friendship hot again?

According to Us Weekly, things are looking up for the two. They were spotted together at the end of last year after Jax took some jabs at Tom Sandoval on Vanderpump. Then, it seemed to go down the tubes until they both were guests on WWHL four months ago. Per Jax Taylor, Sandoval has been very present for him during his divorce from Brittany, he told his When Reality Hits listeners:

“Actually, Tom Sandoval has reached out to me more than anybody, and I know people are gonna be shocked by that. I have been hanging out with him a little bit more lately.”

True Friends?

He is not just there for Jax Taylor during his divorce but Tom Sandoval was also there for another big moment. Jax had checked himself into an inpatient mental health treatment facility. It was around thirty days when he was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder and PTSD. Apparently, Sandoval made sure to stay in touch while Jax was away seeking help:

“[He was] just checking on me. … I was shocked because I [hadn’t] heard from Tom in a long time, and now I probably talk to Tom three or four times a week. I love Tom, and I will always love him no matter what he does. He’s my best friend, along with Tom Schwartz. They’re both my best friends. People make mistakes in life, but you gotta move on from it, and we all gotta forgive each other at some point.”

There was a time when the three were inseparable. They shared an apartment and were always by each other’s sides. Jax even had the Toms’ names tattooed on him so it is good that they are moving on and Sandoval is helping him through this dark time.
