A fan-favorite teen drama is returning to Netflix this October. Fans have asked and the call has been answered. The subscribers of Netflix won’t have to go through Halloween without their favorite best friends.

Netflix Makes Dreams Come True

Netflix is a top-rated streaming service that grants many fans Halloween or all-year-round wishes. The streaming service is bringing back one of the best teen dramas which should make a lot of fans very happy.

Showcasing an iconic duo, Gossip Girl will be returning to Netflix this October. Take a journey to the Upper East Side this Halloween and stay for a while with Blair and Serena.

The show took a page out of Serena Vandeerwoodson’s playbook when it made its exit. The show said, “I have to go” without a reasonable explanation much like the blonde socialite herself.

Played by the well-known actress, Blake Lively, fans will remember Serena for causing drama everywhere she goes and her dating roster. Recently, the actress has starred in the movie adaptation of It Ends With Us. Originally airing on the CW is not a big enough spotlight for Gossip Girl and Ms. Vanderwoodson allowing both their grand return.

Gossip Girl has been a staple in pop culture since it originally aired in 2007 and earned six seasons. As Blair Waldorf said, “I’m not a stop along the way. I’m a destination” and fans have been on her waiting list to see her marvelous return to Netflix.

Blair Waldorf, Serena’s on-again off-again bestie is played by Leighton Meester. Fans best remember her for her iconic lines, designer outfits, and her relationship with Chuck Bass. The Chuck Bass is played by Ed Westwick.

Also starring in the series is Dan Humphrey, the guy from Brooklyn who gets “thrown” into the world of the rich and famous. This man who is obsessed with Serena is You star Penn Badgley.

One of the best parts of the series is the fact that no one knows who Gossip Girl truly is. Reportedly, the answer was leaked from the set and had to be changed. Additionally, the person revealed as Gossip Girl was unaware they would get this title and had multiple instances in the show where their reaction would not make sense.

Nevertheless, it is still a beloved show by many. Thus, the series got a reboot which aired in 2021. The series showcased a new generation of New York elites. The show did not do as well as its predecessor and was canceled after its second season.

Though the show had earned itself a reboot with a whole new cast, one thing has and should always remain the same. Kristen Bell as the voice of Gossip Girl will forever be a voice of a generation.

In addition to Chuck Bass, Serena Vanderwoodson, Blair Waldorf, and Dan Humphrey, the last original member of the gang who stirred up drama even though he claimed to hate it is Nate Archibald. The fan-favorite boyfriend has some romances within the show and is played by Chace Crawford.

The series is well known for its captivating plot, remarkable fashion, and aesthetic. Furthermore, the outfits of the main duo impacted outfits all around the world. Additionally, the nostalgic show received attention for how they dealt with mental health, relationships, and the pressures involved with money, success, and fame.

Perhaps the fan craze can reach the next generation. Fans can relive the drama or watch it for the first time when the series returns to Netflix on October 29th.
