Katie Thurston Talks Engagement Party, Is She Wedding Planning?
Bachelorette Katie Thurston and her new fiance comedian Jeff Arcuri are excited about their future together. He recently proposed to her and the two are already getting into planning mode. She revealed wanting to have an engagement celebration with his family in Michigan. So, she went to social media to get advice from fans who have already been through it all. Now, she’s sharing more details and it seems it’s happening pretty soon. Keep reading to find out more.
Katie Thurston Talks Engagement Party
Former Bachelorette Katie Thurston is talking about celebrating her love with Jeff Arcuri with his family in Michigan. She is planning an engagement party and revealed she had flown out to Michigan to look at three different venues for the event.
She finally found what she was looking for. Katie said, “When we showed up you guys, I could cry. I walked into this room and I was like. ‘I could picture the family here hanging and having a good time.’”
She then revealed more about what she was planning. They would have a cocktail hour with their guests followed by a dinner. A chef would be preparing individual dinners based on a menu that she and Jeff picked out.
Katie was looking for feedback from guests about what they loved about their own parties or wished they would have done differently. She also noted that it was actually a lot of work planning these things.
She said, “It’s a lot. and at the end of the day, all things related to your celebration of love comes down to what you want to do… It’s a big party of love.”
While she didn’t reveal every little detail, she did say she found a dress to wear to the event. Katie said, “It’s so cute and I think I’ll be able to wear it to other events like New Year’s. I could even wear it to a bachelorette party. I could repurpose this dress many times!”
Just yesterday she shared that she and Jeff had landed in Michigan so perhaps their party is this weekend.

Are They Wedding Planning?
So far Katie Thurston and Jeff Arcuri have not shared too much about when they plan to tie the knot. They want to first celebrate their love with family and friends. It does seem as though she isn’t wasting any time. So, perhaps a wedding could follow sooner than some think.
She has not shared whether or not she has found a dress for the actual wedding. However, she is already looking toward the bachelorette party as she noted her engagement party dress could be reused.
