‘Sister Wives’ Aspyn Brown’s Husband Hits Major 7-Year Milestone
Sister Wives fans got to see a beautiful throwback to Aspyn Brown Thompson and Mitch Thompson‘s wedding during the latest episode of Season 19. While the family has forever changed since attending their union, it was an incredible moment in time for the Browns. So what is happening in Aspyn and Mitch’s life now? Undeniably, they are celebrating Mitch’s accomplishment of hitting a major 7-year milestone.
The Family Was Different At Aspyn Brown And Mitch Thompson’s Wedding
On the September 29 episode of Sister Wives, fans saw a huge comparison between the family enjoying Aspyn Brown and Mitchell Thompson’s wedding and now attending Logan Brown‘s wedding with conflict. Kody and Christine Brown’s oldest daughter, Aspyn was married in June 2019. However, by the time Logan Brown and Michelle Petty tied the knot in October 2022, three of Kody’s wives had left him. Sadly, the show highlights the stark difference between the family dynamics in less than four years. Christine says, “We’re not the same family that went to Aspyn and Mitch’s wedding.”
Aspyn Brown And Mitch Thompson’s Wedding Reflection
While fans didn’t get to see Logan’s wedding on TLC, the sentimental viewing of the family from Aspyn Brown Thompson and Mitch Thompson’s glorious occasion was revisited. Aspyn was in a gorgeous white gown and Mitch was in a traditional kilt. Likewise, Kody joined him by wearing a kilt to celebrate his daughter’s union.
Meri, Janelle, Christine, and Robyn Brown each donned colorful hats and elegant dresses.
Without a doubt, it was an enchanting moment in time for the family. But how is the lovely couple now?
Mitch Thompson Hits Major 7-Year Milestone
Undeniably, Aspyn Brown Thompson picked a guy who is strong and devoted. On Mitch Thompson’s Instagram page, he lets fans know he has completed a hard-earned accomplishment. He captions: “After 7+ years of training and a 7 hour test, I have finally earned my black belt in Krav Maga!” Then, he adds a photo as he accepts his diploma for his dedication. Without a doubt, he shows he can stick with something he did even before they were married. Seemingly, Aspyn supports her husband in his discipline and they are doing great.
Mitch Thompson Showed Great Dedication
On Unified Krav Maga’s Instagram page, they showed what Aspyn Brown’s husband is truly made of. For the past seven years, Mitchell Thompson has shown extraordinary discipline to earn his black belt. The caption says:
“Unified Krav Maga’s mission is to provide the people in our community with the skills, knowledge, and mentality necessary to defend themselves. Our vision is to have self-defense experts plugged into our communities who are trained, ready, and willing to make a positive impact on the lives of the good people around us.
@mitchellton13 has spent the better part of the past decade perfecting this mindset and we are so proud to announce his promotion to 1st Degree Black Belt!
Black belts requirements include:
✅ An expert understanding of every UKM self-defense technique taught from levels 1-7
✅ Take a fight (Muay Thai or MMA) against an unknown opponent (Mitch has taken several!)
✅ Be a primary instructor of at least one Krav Maga class (Mitch owns our weapons defenses classes held every Tuesday and he taught jiu-jitsu before that)
✅Heavily involved in the development of the Unified Krav Maga curriculum
✅ Provide an expert’s perspective of the effectiveness of each UKM self defense technique we teach
✅ Impactful mentor to all students, peers, and other instructors (humble, kind, approachable, confident, courageous, and constructive)Mitch is the epitome of what we expect our black belts to look like and has consistently emulated each one of the requirements highlighted above. We are thrilled to recognize him as our newest black belt (# 8 in our school’s history!) and we are incredibly excited to see what he accomplishes in the future!

Aspyn Brown Has A Great Partner
Both Aspyn Brown and Mitch Thompson seem to adore each other. Together they are supporting one another and celebrating the small and big accomplishments in their lives. After Mitch posted, family and friends were quick to show their support as well.
