‘Sister Wives’ Meri Brown’s Smackdown To Kody’s Nasty Comment
While Sister Wives fans know that star, Meri Brown and Kody Brown have been struggling in their marriage for years, they are seeing a new side of Meri now. Meri claps back at Kody’s nasty comment with a full-blown smackdown response.
Kody Brown Says That Meri Had ‘Baggage’
Undeniably, Kody Brown isn’t in a place to be kind to his ex-wives, Christine, Janelle, and Meri Brown. Furthermore, he is still sorting out how to treat his only wife that is left, Robyn Brown. But in Season 19 Episode 2, Kody doesn’t mince words. When discussing what went wrong with his marriage to Meri, he says, “I didn’t know who she was. When we got married, she was very different.” Then, he says, “There was some baggage that I didn’t know about. Initially, I thought that I could live with it.” Furthermore, he gives an example of Meri snapping at him over gum. He says, “Here baby, want some gum?” Then, he pretends to be Meri biting back, “You know I don’t like spearmint gum!” Additionally, in the confessional, he says, “I can’t live in a world where she is constantly angry at me.”
But he also says that their relationship deteriorated as time went on getting “worse and worse.” However, Meri is tired of sitting around listening to Kody’s description of their marriage. She responded with a smackdown.
Meri Brown’s Smackdown To Kody’s Nasty Comment
On Instagram, Meri Brown puts the smackdown on Kody Brown after he made a nasty comment about her. She captions: “Don’t ya know I don’t like spearmint?😏🤷♀️ #worthyup.” Then, she adds a video of herself picking up her spearmint “Extra” gum. Without a word, fans can hear the crackle of the cellophane wrapping as she snatches it off the counter and carries it directly to the trash. Slowly, the automatic trashcan opens and she tosses the pack defiantly to make a bold thud and personal statement. Although Meri’s actions confuse her dog, Zona, fans know what was going on. For anyone who had seen Kody “trash” her name, it was clear she was done with him being “extra” over how the relationship ended. Likewise, Meri plugs her new business, Worthy Up, that is focusing on letting go of the people and things that no longer serve you.
