‘Today’ Jenna Bush Hager Explains Missing Wedding Ring
Some Today fans have noticed that co-host Jenna Bush Hager does not wear her wedding ring while working on the show. While some fans have speculated as to the reason, Jenna finally came out and explained it. She did it during her “Social Dilemmas” segment on Today with Hoda Kotb.

Why Does Jenna Bush Hager Not Wear Wedding Ring On Today?
On Wednesday, Jenna Bush Hager participated in The Today Show’s “Social Dilemmas” segment with Hoda Kotb. During the segment, she explained why she does not have a wedding ring on her finger. This conversation came when a viewer asked about an “engagement ring debacle.”
The viewer wrote that their partner planned to propose soon, and he had a “hideous” family heirloom ring. They wanted to know how the hosts would suggest they navigate the situation. Before Jenna gave her advice, she took the time to talk about her missing wedding ring.
“I’m not wearing my ring, but don’t worry… we’re still happy together, but I broke my finger,” Jenna said in the segment. However, she then gave some advice to the person when she mentioned how she didn’t have the “best” ring either when Henry Chase Hager proposed to her.
She said that Chase “redid” the ring he gave her since he also got it from a relative. “I think [it was] his grandmother’s, or somebody’s… I mean, we’ve been married a long time,” Bush Hager said. She then suggested that the couple have an “honest conversation” before the proposal so they could figure out how they could alter the heirloom ring.

Jenna Bush Hager only has a few months left to work with her friend and co-host Hoda Kotb on The Today Show. Hoda announced on Thursday that she is quitting the show to spend more time with her family.

There is no word yet on who will replace Hoda Kotb on the show, but her two closest friends, Jenna Bush Hager and Savannah Guthrie, will have to get used to not seeing her every day once the new year rolls around.
While Hager is emotional about Hoda’s news, Savannah is also not taking it well. She was seen crying about the news, and The Today Show even joked that she was eating and drinking to get over the news.
