Recently, Young and The Restless alum Hunter King spoke to First For Women about her new Hallmark Christmas movie, Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story. Hunter and her co-star Tyler Hynes have been all over the media talking about this movie. They have hung out with Donna Kelce, and the Chiefs team, attended the ESPY awards, and have represented the Hallmark brand well. Most of all, romcom fans expect a really romantic story.
King revealed that she always wanted to work with Tyler Hynes. “I’ve always wanted to work with Tyler for years and I finally had the opportunity.” She added, “He’s such a gentleman and he’s so sweet. And he’s an amazing costar. He cares so much about his work, his craft, connecting in scenes and collaborating, that feels like a team effort.”
Most of all, they both love working for Hallmark and making these sorts of movies. “Tyler and I were just saying how we love watching feel-good movies. Every Hallmark I’ve been on is just filled with so much joy. It’s crazy how the brand roots itself in spreading happiness and reminding people how important it is to have family and love in your life.”

Hallmark’s Countdown To Christmas movie Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story is the first collaboration between the feel-good network and the NFL. Starring Y&R alum Hunter King and Hallmark Hunk Tyler Hynes, it has the ingredients for a winning romcom.
Hunter portrays Alana Higman. She comes from a multi-generation Kansas City Chiefs-obsessed family. They are such superfans that they are one of three finalists for the team’s Fan Of The Year Contest. Tyler portrays Derrick. He is the Director of Fan Engagement and is tasked with trying to determine who deserves to win this honor. They meet, but the two don’t exactly hit it off. But, as he continues to hang out with the Higman family, Derrick and Alana start to feel something for each other.
Despite their deepening romance, things suddenly go south. That is because Grandpa Higman’s lucky antique Chiefs hat is missing. Now Alana doubts everything. Could Christmas magic save the day?
