‘GH’ Star Finola Hughes Talks Shocking Anna & Jason Kiss

The Quest To Rescue Lucky Spencer
Jason Morgan’s nickname is Stone Cold, but he will do anything for a select few in his life. So, when Carly asked him to head overseas to find Lucky Spencer, he was on the first flight out. Anna Devane was also on the flight with her own mission to find Lucky. After some hesitation, Anna and Jason decided to team up to bring Lucky home.
He’s needed back in Port Charles to hopefully save his sister, Lulu, from dying. She’s in desperate need of a new liver. Actress Alexa Havins takes over the role of a comatose Lulu sometime this fall.
Finola Hughes Talks Shocking Anna & Jason Kiss
Finola Hughes (Anna) and Steve Burton (Jason) have been sharing a lot of screentime in recent months. But the actress confessed to Soap Opera Digest that she was as surprised as viewers by the kiss between Jason and Anna.
“It was a bit of a shock. I wasn’t sure where it was coming from,” she said. The kiss seemed to come from the pair’s fear of dying. She noted that Jason and Anna have been in dire situations before, but not quite like this.
“There is something different about these circumstances, and luckily, we were working with an actor [Rota] whose [believability] was very helpful in all of that, in it seeming like we were going to die, more so than in other situations.”
Finola Hughes didn’t reveal if the kiss was real or part of the ruse to rescue Lucky. But she teased that she was interested in finding out what happens with Jason and Anna.
GH Fans Revolted By Pairing
The kiss between Anna and Jason wasn’t a complete surprise to seasoned soap fans. Viewers previously expressed disdain at a possible romance between Anna and Jason.
