Val Chmerkovskiy Weighs In On Feud With Brother & Anna Delvey
Reigning Dancing With The Stars champion Val Chmerkovskiy is opening up about the feud between his brother and Anna Delvey.
Maks Chmerkovskiy has always been extremely opinionated. And now that he’s not on DWTS, he won’t hold back his personal thoughts, especially when it comes to Delvey.
But what does Val have to say about the rift between his brother and fellow Season 33 contestant?
Val Chmerkovskiy Acknowledges His Brother’s Feelings
Fans of the Chmerkovskiy brothers know that Maks and Val have always been incredibly close. When Maks publicly shared his negative views on Anna Delvey, many wondered if Val shared similar sentiments.
It’s entirely possible that Val Chmerkovskiy thinks poorly of Delvey as well. But if he does, he’s taking the high road for now.
“[Maks] has his opinion,” Val admitted to Us Weekly after Oscars Night wrapped up. “Whether I share his opinion or not, that’s not my quote, and that’s not my position to talk about it.”
Many fans suspected that the Season 33 pros are keeping their personal opinions quiet for the sake of the show. Val’s silence on the matter seemed to add fuel to these rumors.
“First of all, shout-out to Ezra, her pro, who did an amazing job,” the Season 32 champion continued. “I think [Delvey] worked hard, and she did well — and that’s it.”
DWTS Fans Felt Angered By Anna Delvey’s Lack Of Respect For The Show
Anna Delvey and Ezra Sosa were eliminated at the end of Oscars Night. At the end of the episode, Delvey completely disrespected the show and said she didn’t learn anything during her time there. Delvey’s poor behavior in the ballroom is precisely what set off Maks Chmerkovskiy in the first place.
“So my struggle here … I can see both sides,” Maks previously said in an interview with TMZ where he called Delvey a “professional liar.” “I can also be on the production side and I can be on the viewer side and understand it all. But if you want an ankle [bracelet] and sort of this, ‘Damn, this is going to draw attention,’ and the scandalousness of it all – I mean, there’s so many other people you can choose from.”
Anna Delvey went on to clap back at Maks on social media, insinuating that he must be “poor.”
What do you think about Maks Chmerkovskiy’s opinions on Anna Delvey? Do you think Val secretly shares these views? Leave your own thoughts and opinions in the comments.
DWTS Season 33 will take a break next week for the presidential debate. Week three resumes with two new episodes on October 7-8. Tune in and see where the Season 33 competitors go from here.
