Rosie O’Donnell Joked About Diddy Prison Time In Clip
Since Sean “Diddy” Combs’s arrest and criminal changes, people have been digging up old clips. Many people, especially comedians, have made comments about him in the past. This shows that everyone seems to know about his misdeeds, even if no one really listened to them when they said it.
Rosie O’Donnell is one of those people, and a recent clip resurfaced with her joking about him serving possible jail time.
Rosie O’Donnell Video Clip Mocks Diddy Jail Probability
A video from several years ago showed Rosie O’Donnell talking to the girl group TLC around awards time. O’Donnell was congratulating TLC on their many Grammy nominations that year.
Roseanne said, “Lot of multiple nominees — multiple Grammy nominees — this year. Lauryn Hill’s got four, TLC’s got eight, and Sean Combs 5 to 10.” The girl group started laughing at the Diddy joke, and Rosie continued. “Get it? Like he’s going to jail… I don’t mean to be mean because, I mean, he’s a nice guy and he can really sing sing. Oops!” (via NY Post).
Rosie O’Donnell actually lived by Diddy’s Miami house. She said he had invited her to one of his famous White Parties even though they had only met one time.
O’Donnell also compared Sean Combs to Harvey Weinstein. The film producer was found guilty of felony rape charges and sentenced to 23 years in prison. A court of appeals overturned the New York rape convictions, but he remains in prison because of a California conviction.
What Are Diddy’s Charges?
Sean “Diddy” Combs was arrested and charged with sex trafficking and racketeering. Prosecutors have claimed that he transposed sex workers across state lines for parties he held and then forced women at the parties to have “Freak Offs” with male prostitutes.
Prosecutors claimed Diddy himself would arrange and direct the elaborate sex performances, record them, and even pleasure himself during them. The prosecutors then claim that Combs would use the recorded footage to blackmail people and even use guns “to intimate and threaten” the people involved.
In March, the FBI raided Combs’s two homes in Miami and Los Angeles. According to reports, they found 1,000 bottles of baby oil and lubricant, images, and footage of the Freak Offs. They also found three defaced AR-15 assault weapons.
Prosecutors have filed three counts of racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion, and transportation to engage in prostitution. He pleased not guilty to all charges. If found guilty, he faces decades in prison. He was also denied bail, as the prosecutors determined he was a flight risk.
