‘DWTS’ Carrie Ann Inaba On Anna Delvey’s Disrespectful Exit
Many Dancing With The Stars friends weren’t happy with Anna Delvey’s disrespectful exit from the show. Now, judge Carrie Ann Inaba is sharing her own feelings on the situation.
Carrie Anna Inaba Calls Anna Delvey’s Exit “A Shame”
Anna Delvey certainly isn’t the first contentious contestant to compete on Dancing With The Stars and she won’t be the last. However, viewers felt enraged by her blatant lack of respect for the show or anyone else involved.
“I was taken aback by her comment when asked what she learned from being on the show, and she flatly said, ‘Nothing,'” Carrie Ann shared with Entertainment Weekly. “That was dismissive not only of the opportunity she was given, of her wonderful and supportive partner Ezra in his debut season, but also of all of us who work on the show, from the dancers to behind the scenes to the creative team. We all put in the effort to give her a fair opportunity. But I don’t think she could see that and it’s a shame. A little gratitude could have changed the narrative.”
During premiere night, Carrie Ann asked DWTS viewers to give Anna Delvey a chance. However, she continued behaving poorly onscreen and fans just had enough. She didn’t receive enough votes to advance to week three.

“I think our audience did what felt right to them. And that’s the beauty of DWTS for our fans,” the judge continued. “Our fans are passionate and engaged and they vote for who they want to win the Mirrorball trophy. But I’d like to point out something important. Our fans don’t vote people off. That is not our format. Unlike Survivor we don’t vote people off. Our fans vote for who they want to win.”
The Chmerkovskiy Brothers Weigh In On The Situation
Since Maks Chmerkovskiy is no longer affiliated with DWTS, he freely shared his opinion on Anna Delvey. He publicly called her a “professional liar” and said she didn’t deserve her spot on the show.”
Val Chmerkovskiy had to take the higher road since he’s still performing on the show, but he had opinions too.
“First of all, shout-out to Ezra, her pro, who did an amazing job,” the reigning DWTS champ told Us Weekly. “I think she worked hard, and she did well — and that’s it.”

I agree with Carrie Ann. Anna was rude and disrespectful and Ezra didn’t deserve the negativity. Hope he gets
better partner next season. She didn’t have her heart in it from the beginning and wasted his time and talent.
She had a chance not many get,and she was so nasty to Julian with her answer,,,shows how ignorant she is,,,,,I’m surprised they let a felon on the show. I will never stop watching
DWTS it’s my favorite show ever. I wouldn’t allow her back on show. Everyone on show were so kind to her,,and she spit in there face
Get a grip, guys. She was making a sarcastic comment, referring to all the things she took, i.e. stole, previously, meaning she took nothing from DWTS. I THOUGHT HER COMMENT WAS PRETTY CLEVER
