‘Fixer Upper’ Joanna Gaines Excites Fans With New Project

Joanna Gaines has excited fans after announcing a new, upcoming project. Announcing on Instagram, the Fixer Upper host revealed the project was inspired by her son, Crew. Fans were also quick to acknowledge her similar projects over the years. So, what does she have in store?

The Project Was Inspired By Gaines’ Youngest

Joanna Gaines first came to prominence for co-hosting the HGTV reality series Fixer Upper with her husband, Chip. They would show three possible homes. Once the choice was made, they helped renovate it to perfection.

Together, the couple has five children: Drake, Ella, Duke, Emmie, and Crew. On social media, Joanna revealed that her youngest child, Crew, helped to inspire a new project. It is a children’s book called The World Needs the Wonder You See.

As noted by Country Living, Joanna also shared, “I wanted to write this story in part for Crew—as a thank you for all of the times he has walked me back to the richer side of life.” Joanna continued, “But I also wrote it for me, and for anyone who could use a reminder that wonder awaits us too.”

The book is technically a children’s book, but Joanna felt anyone could enjoy it. She noted, “I don’t think it’s ever too late to live with our eyes wide open and our hearts expectant for wonder.” On Instagram, Joanna promoted the book with an animated video, in which illustrations fill up the cover. Various fans, including teachers, parents, and grandparents, wrote they couldn’t wait to share the book with the children in their lives.

In the caption, Joanna also talked about what inspired her. As she wrote, “Years of admiring the way Crew moves through the world inspired an idea for a children’s book all about the everyday beauty and surprise that kids are so naturally drawn to seek out and discover.”

This Isn’t Gaines’ First Children’s Book

Notably, this isn’t the first time Joanna has come out with a children’s book. Beforehand, she had also released We Are the Gardeners and The World Needs Who You Were Made to Be. In addition, Joanna has released a few memoirs, cookbooks, and even an interior design book.

Some fans even noted Joanna’s previous works and praised this one:
