Joey Graziadei Takes Extreme Measures For ‘DWTS’ Advantage
Joey Graziadei already said he wants to be the first male Bachelor Nation star to win Dancing With The Stars. Will he do anything it takes? Keep reading to find out how he got a subtle advantage over his competitors.
How Far Fans Think Joey Will Make It On ABC Dance Show
Bachelor viewers weren’t expecting much from Joey Graziadei on the Dancing With The Stars premiere. After all, they saw him try to learn the Flamenco dance during Season 28 while on a date with Rachel Nance in Spain.
But he put in the work and wowed the audience and judges with his Cha Cha to Tyler Hubbard’s “Dancin’ in the Country.” The reality star even donned a cowboy hat for the number. He received a score of 21 out of 30 with his pro partner, Jenna Johnson.
His energetic Cha Cha and great footwork have many fans putting Joey Graziadei in the top 3, if not the winner of the Mirrorball Trophy.
Joey Graziadei Takes Extreme Measures For DWTS Advantage
Joey Graziadei didn’t get the highest score on Night 1 of DWTS. That went to Chandler Kinney, who scored a 23 for her Tango with pro partner Brandon Armstrong. Joey had the disadvantage of going first.
Now he’s taken extreme measures to give himself an advantage for the second week. Two celebs will go home in a double elimination and the Bachelor Nation star doesn’t want to be one of them.
The Velour Medical Spa TikTok account shared a video of Joey Graziadei getting Botox in his armpits to prevent sweating during his routine. His last dance ended with him opening his shirt to reveal his chest. Now we know how he managed such an energetic dance without breaking a sweat.

The cosmetic company explained the purpose of the Botox in the caption. “Botox in the underarms treats hyperhidrosis & helps reduce pit stains!” The Mayo Clinic defines hyperhidrosis as excessive sweating and notes the condition can cause social anxiety and embarrassment.
Social media users praised Joey for raising awareness with the video:
- “What a Hyperhidrosis mindful king.”
- “This man is so fine.”
- “He’s so intensely focused.”
- “Thank you for raising awareness for hyperhidrosis!”
- “The way he didn’t even blink.”
- “More shirtless Joey content pls.”
- “Very demure!! Very mindful!”
But a few noted that the Bachelor star’s hair was much longer in the video than it currently is, indicating that the video was filmed prior to his DWTS debut.
Do you think the Botox to prevent sweating gives Joey Graziadei an advantage, or do all of the contestants likely do the same thing? Sound off in the comments.
